Awesome product and shipper. Very easy to use. Worked as described. Looking forward to using them again on other projects.

I used these to polish our marble shower floor. I wanted a tumbled finish so these worked great taking the etching out and leaving a great finish.

The 100, 200, 400 worked great, I got out some bad scratches and etch marks out of marble. I don’t think the 800, 1000, or 3000 had any grit to them. They added very little to nothing for the effort, and didn’t give me the shine I was looking for. They didn’t create a slurry like the 100-400 did. I resurfaced a marble countertop, wet with a variable speed grinder at 2500 rpm. Maybe I did wrong but I ended up hiring a company to finish the job.

I have used comparable products before and typically get very good wear out the pads using a wet polisher. These are the worst pads I have ever used. I am lucky I got the set with 2x 50, 100, and 200 but I will still need to order additional ones for this project. I am polishing a 12 square foot concrete counter top and used both 50 pads and Im not finished. I typically make more passes with this grit pad but was forced to go to the 100 because the pads wore out. I still have the edges to polish. I have also worn out one of the 100 pads on the top. I would typically be able to polish 3+ counter tops of this size with comparable pads. DO NOT BUY THESE PADS!!! I have never left a bad review as I am always generally happy with my purchases from Amazon. This is not one of them and would request my money back if I thought I would be able to get it returned. Again, these pads are horrible and do not buy them, purchase a different brand

With just a little practice these worked great. I cut granite and polished the edges to match the finished top. They seem durable and should last.

Im working on 120 linear feet of tumbled rock wall topped by granite caps. I bought these to soften some edges on the caps and had high hopes before they arrived. However, I was severely disappointed when I opened the box. First, on the plus side, the pieces were all there and the packaging was fine. That said, the pads didnt look right as they seemed to be missing the diamond specs. My first test was to close my eyes and rub my fingers across the pads. I literally could not tell the difference between the 50 grit pad and the 6000 grit pad. Anyone who has used both will get right away that doesnt bode well for effectiveness. Ive never experienced that before, and it was not a great confidence builder. I decided I might as well try the pads to see if maybe they had invented a diamond pad where actual abrasion wasnt important to them working -- Always the optimist. I went ahead and used the 50 grit pad. However, after a few minutes I had precious little dust, let alone any material removal. Net, maybe their 50 grit is useful as a 3000 grit replacement. However, if you are actually looking to use any of the 50 grit to perhaps 1500 grit pads, I would avoid this. IMHO.

I just polished the front edge of my granite vanity counter top with this set. They worked great. Its the first time I tried doing this, so there was a bit of a learning curve. But once I got going, I was able to figure out how to get a decent shine. I did a little bit of both dry and wet polishing. It took a few hours from 50 grit to 8000. Would have given it 5 stars, but the last grit just couldnt quite give me that perfect gloss. And the backer pad hook and loop velcro would come loose every time I changed pads. Other than that, it was the best product for the cost.

I used these pads for the edges of marble tile for my counter top. The grittier pads (50 100 400) worked well however the fine grit pads ( 800 and up) gummed up and left black residue on the tile and pads. I had to repeatedly stop and use wd-40 to clean the pads and marble from the black residue. Im not sure if this is caused by a high rpm grinder or the fact that I was working on an edge as opposed to a flat surface. But, the sheen on the edge of the tiles now match the factory surface, so Im happy with the final product but the pads need to be thrown out.
