Diamond Polishing Pads 4 inch Wet/Dry Set of 11+1 Backer Pad Best Value Granite Concrete

> 3 dayWhen I remodeled my bathroom using marble, I used a diamond router bit to round over the trim piece I cut, and then these pads to sand/polish the rough edges. This saved me a lot of money compared to purchasing marble trim. Plus I was able to custom size the molding so it would not interfere with light switches, door trim, etc. I worked with heavy rubber gloves and boots, because I sprayed water on the pads with a simple pump up garden type sprayer, and I wanted protection from electrical shock. Having extra pads really helped because the 50 and 100 grit pads tended to wear through prolonged use. This kit is way better than the comparable kit without extra pads.

> 3 dayBought for smoothing out a DIY cast-in-place concrete countertop. Minor improvements in my countertop when used dry but adding a little water produced a remarkably different result and the pads showed the wear quickly. I have 48 sqft of countertop to grind down so it was wishful thinking to expect that I could get away with one set so Ive ordered another.

> 3 dayThese things work great. I used these to polish my concrete countertop and they were perfect for the job. The lower grit pads I did use with water and I’m glad because they did were out pretty fast and I was glad they sent 2 of each. The higher grits worked fantastic with a little water and provided a very smooth surface

Greater than one weekDiamond pads work great! Have not had a chance to use diamond bullnose. Very pleased with DeWalt Wer grinder,i do wish the easy connect came with a flexible hose to attach to garden hose, but went to my local plumbing store and got what I needed.

Greater than one weekI am not sure why people do not read the directions listed and not exceed the limits of the pad with excessive RPM speeds. I used this on about 60sf of concrete countertop. I used a Harbor Freight polisher with digital readout and maintained 3000 RPM with 50 Grit, 100 Grit and finished with 200 Grit. If you let the polisher do the work and keep the pad level you cannot even notice any wear on the pad. I even swapped it for the second new pad and could not tell a difference. I am very impressed with these pads and would purchase again, but I think these will last a long time. You can dry polish up to 200 Grit and it suggest wet for 400 and up. My countertop is feels glass smooth so I did not see a reason to polish higher grit.

> 3 dayI used these pads for the edges of marble tile for my counter top. The grittier pads (50 100 400) worked well however the fine grit pads ( 800 and up) gummed up and left black residue on the tile and pads. I had to repeatedly stop and use wd-40 to clean the pads and marble from the black residue. Im not sure if this is caused by a high rpm grinder or the fact that I was working on an edge as opposed to a flat surface. But, the sheen on the edge of the tiles now match the factory surface, so Im happy with the final product but the pads need to be thrown out.

> 3 dayWorked on a piece of marble that was etched. Have more work to do on it since just doing initial test. But worked out great so far. Had to use drill since buffer I have did not fit the attachment. That will work better than the drill.

> 3 dayThese worked as advertised. There are best used with a buffer. Since they are 4 diameter, use with a drill is difficult to get even material removal and polishing.
