Although the product does not mention this, I used these with a standard orbital sander and they worked quite well - just takes more time and elbow grease than the more expensive water fed polisher. The velcro back of the pad stuck right to the orbital sander and I sponged water on the concrete surface. Need to apply a fair amount of pressure to the sander. This is one of the methods recommended by Cheng and these pads are cheaper than the ones he sells on his site.

We bought these to polish/ grind our new granite counter tops that we installed ourselves. Honestly, I dont think my husband used all of the pads yet, but the ones he did use he was very happy with. I will mention that if you are doing granite, you should probably practice on a junk slab with the higher grit pads. We accidentally took a good size chip out of the granite when trying to grind a corner to make a rounded edge (but it isnt noticeable when the granite glue was added). After my husband figured out the angle and pressure to use our grinder at, he didnt have any more problems. These pads are great

This product works great. I had to cut the edge of my granite countertop then used this item to polish the cut side. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS ON A STANDARD ANGLE GRINDER - THE PADS WILL DISINTEGRATE DUE TO THE HIGH SPEED. Use a variable speed angle grinder on medium speed OR an automotive buffer that has variable speed. I used the buffer, and it fit perfectly and worked great.

Diamond pads work great! Have not had a chance to use diamond bullnose. Very pleased with DeWalt Wer grinder,i do wish the easy connect came with a flexible hose to attach to garden hose, but went to my local plumbing store and got what I needed.

Im using the 50 and 100 grit pads for polishing the concrete floor in my basement. Im using them with a Makita 9564CV angle grinder and a dust shroud. This grinder has a variable speed setting so I can keep the RPM at or below 5,000. The finish with this grit is actually amazing, it looks so much nicer than we originally expected. The seller even threw in two additional pads for free as a bonus, which was really cool. Very positive experience thus far!

These worked great for the edges of our granite tile countertops. Bought a $40 angle grinder at Harbor Freight to use with them and they did the job for relatively cheap!

For the price performance is good. Dry pads almost always leave a bit to be desired, but I was impressed at the level of performance given the price. We will see how long they last...

I love it?... well, sort of. They work and very well. I have a really nice new counter top with bullnosed and finely polished edges... thanks, in no small part, to these. Plus, 100sf of granite and they seem like new. The downside? Man that was ALOT of work and time. Still, I cant deduct because the finish was perfect.
