The Velcro came loose from the backing pad after approximately three hours of use, so I was annoyed about that. After I actually read the specs for the product I realized my grinder spins far too fast for these. Works great on an actual polisher. The polishing pads themselves seem fine, no complaints.

The 100, 200, 400 worked great, I got out some bad scratches and etch marks out of marble. I don’t think the 800, 1000, or 3000 had any grit to them. They added very little to nothing for the effort, and didn’t give me the shine I was looking for. They didn’t create a slurry like the 100-400 did. I resurfaced a marble countertop, wet with a variable speed grinder at 2500 rpm. Maybe I did wrong but I ended up hiring a company to finish the job.

These pads were great! I had to polish several edges of 3cm granite for some bathroom vanity tops and they worked great. I assumed this kit was ready to mount on a drill but I soon realized it the foam pad doesnt have a mandrel. You need either a grinder/polisher or be sure to purchase the drill adapted when you buy the kit. I bought an angle grinder and a router speed controller (to slow the grinder down) for this project. Here are some tips I learned: 1. Make sure the pads are centered! Off-center pads cause uncomfortable tool vibration. 2. Take you time & be thorough. I realized after I installed the piece that I had missed a thin strip. Tough to see outside, but you can see the dull reflection under lighting. 3. Tape off work section. This helped me stay within the limits of the work area and ensure I was polishing the entire work area so I didnt miss anything. 4. Take a milk jug and poke a pin hole about 1 inch from the bottom. Fill with water. Direct the small stream of water onto the work area. Move jug as needed to keep area wet. Overall I was very happy and the pads still look brand new. Based on how often I will use them, they will probably last my lifetime. Most of my friends couldnt tell the factory edging from my work so I was happy about that!

I purchased these for a recent kitchen project. I needed to cut and polish my quartz counter tops. This kit had grits from 50 up to 8000. The edges I cut and polished were just as good as the originally finished spots. Can’t tell. Another reviewer made a good point, most angle grinders are not variable speed, just on and off. I used an angle style automotive variable speed buffer since it has a 5/8” shank for the arbor pad. Set my garden hose for a constant trickle of water while polishing, and it worked great. If you don’t have a variable speed grinder or buffer, and it’s a small project, I’d recommend a 5/8” arbor adapter for a drill chuck.

These are great! I like everything about them. I will be ordering more at this exceptional price. I have used a broad range of brands and prices, I have done alot of comparisons side by side, Stadea takes the gold! I use these on chalcedony, agates, quartz, petrified woods and more. Mohs scale from 2 up to 8! I really do not have a single complaint!

These worked great to edge polish Quartz countertop I salvaged. Unable to match the factory top polish on a new seam. Not bad for DIY.

These worked great for the edges of our granite tile countertops. Bought a $40 angle grinder at Harbor Freight to use with them and they did the job for relatively cheap!

This product worked great for me. I decided to try a do it yourself project to polish the ends of some scrap granite pieces in order to create some small tables for my patio recliners. After doing some research on how to do the work I found a reasonable priced polisher and these polishing pad and went to work. I used the dry method of polishing. The project came out great and Im very pleased with this product. Even though polishing granite is a pretty slow process and takes a fair amount of effort Im glad I found this product and tried it myself.

I was able to finish all of my granite countertop with these pads. You will not be able to get the granite back to the factory polished finish with this item but I had several people come through my kitchen and did not notice the difference.
