> 3 dayThe control that you can get with this is amazing. I always had trouble with electronics before with my uncontrolled heat soldering iron melting everything. Now, I hook up the components, and they all work right off the bat.

> 3 dayMuch better than my old $20 Weller. Temature control is great and quickly heats up. I love this thing, makes soldering so much more fun. It feels well built as well.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this system. I do a lot of random projects from micro controller projects, repairing electronics and automotive wiring. This will harm up to its highest heat setting in under 20 seconds. The unit is well build and extremely solid, majority of it is metal including the holder. Tips are great and easy to change. The tips included come pre tinned.

> 3 dayThis is so, so much better than my old Radio Shack iron! This thing heats up fast! My only gripe is that it is easy to accidentally decalibrate. The interface for adjusting temps is rather poorly designed.

> 3 dayThis is my first soldering station, before I worked with ugly soldering iron - no temperature control, no tips, no fun, just brutal power. This item absolutely different, very well made, excellent instruction on website about soldering. Recommended for reading, very helpful and interesting for beginners and hobbyist! Temperature control works good, checked with temperature meter and tried with different solders (60/40, eutectic, rose, lead free) melting point near by. Soldering Iron is superb, I fell in love with him. Good grip, lightweight, fast heating. Works well with surface and smd mount (I never tried before smd, but now I can). After 5 months of usage I would recommend this soldering station. P.S. Be careful, first time I did recalibrate station temperature on 100C degrees because not read instruction and wanted to try faster. First hit enter and then input temperature. Had to look tip thermometer.

> 3 dayWorks great! Value priced! Temp contoller seems to be spot on. Way better than those sub 50w units and very much worth the extra cost.
