> 3 dayEveryone was right about the instructions being somewhat vague, however instructional videos can be found on YouTube on Hakkos page. It will take a little getting used to just to get the sequence to get the temp you want. Thats the only reason for only four stars. For the type of iron it is and the price, it would be hard to beat. Hakka offers repair/replacement parts that many others don not.

> 3 dayThis thing is amazing. I solder guitar cables and electronics in guitars. It can heat to 750 in a matter of seconds, and it doesnt cool while you are working. No melting, no weird smells... Get it.

> 3 dayThis is the soldering station you want. Very good tips, on the comfortable and solid iron, with a very nice flexible cable. This has solid temp control. VERY well constructed and good support. THIS is the one you want! Just pay a little extra for this, over the cheapos and you wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayIncredible step up from the $10 iron I had been using, Worth every penny. Plug & Play, no issues after several hours of use. If I had a re-do, Id go with a dial selector instead of buttons, but still 5 out of 5.
