> 3 dayAwesome. Used wands for years, finally decided to purchase a production digital professional soldering station. I like the digital read out. I use this now on circuit boards which I never thought Id be soldering on! Now I have a pinball game and it comes in extremely helpful. Pros: Price compared to other leading brand. The other leading brand has not improved their product in years. Good quality Digital readout, without the up charge. Peer reviews, recommended by a friend who uses these for work. Cons: None yet

> 3 dayThis works great!!! Heats up quickly. Easy to use and is priced right. I would improve the up-down heat control setting, a little awkward, but for the money I am still giving it a 5

> 3 dayBeen using this iron for small projects for the past couple of years, and recently noticed that it will not heat over 520 degrees (F) anymore. Changed the tips, and inspecting all the parts like the manual suggests and it just does not seem to heat hotter than that. Its a hobby so it only gets used a few times a year, and I expected this to basically last me for many many years with the usage I had in mind. A little sad that it seems to be having issues.

> 3 dayHeats up fast so I can turn it off between various steps without having to wait for a long time to get back to temperature. Well made. Nice extra adaptors. I love it. Ham radio for 65 years and this is the best soldering kit Ive seen.

> 3 dayWow, really impressed with the iron so far. Heats up in no time at all. The digital display is a nice feature. You know when the iron is to temperature. No cold solders! I am going from a 25W Weller iron, so it’s quite a jump and you could say I would be easily impressed with anything but I’m not. These days, quality seems to be the last thing companies strive for. I bought this unit solely on the reviews it received and in my humble opinion, they were not wrong. Although the picture looks like the stand is made cheaply, it is not. The entire unit seems to be quality. There are cheaper stations out there but I am happy to pay for quality.

> 3 dayQuite possibly the best money I have ever spent.. ever... If you need a soldering iron more than once a year, you need one of these.

> 3 dayThis thing heats up FAST!!! Holds temp really well. Just exactly what you want in a soldering iron. I’d been eyeballing this station and had it in my cart for well over a year. Really glad I finally made the purchase. It really is top notch for guitar wiring.
