> 3 dayGot the white PBT board with Gat Yellow switches. The RGB really pops with the white version. Gateron Yellows are super smooth, and make Cherry Reds seem scratchy. The springs on the linear Gat Yellows are perfectly weighted. The stabilizers on this board are lubed and smoother than pretty much any prebuilt out there, including Ducky. If you want Gateron or Kailh switches, this board is a no-brainer since Ducky doesnt currently offer those options. If you want Cherrys, the choice is harder - between this and the Ducky Mecha Mini. (No issues with keyboard freezing, so maybe HK Gaming included the newer cables with this batch?) Just to add - I have 3 Durgods (2 Venus and a Hades). None of them have had any issue with freezing as a few reviewers have claimed. According to Durgod, the issue could be with the original cables in certain environments (Im assuming lack of proper shielding on the old cables). Contact HK Gaming for replacement cables if youre having issues. Again, Ive had zero problems with any of the three keyboards. Ok, got a 3rd board (lol) with Kailh Box Red switches, and wow. The Gat Yellows used to be my favorite but the Box Reds are just as smooth while being a tad faster for gaming (total travel 3.6mm vs 4.0). They also have zero key wobble due to the box design. And theyre not too fast or light to be unusable for typing (like Speed switches). Just a great all-round key switch.

> 3 dayThe build quality is superb, have had no issues so far, and the box white switches are amazing.

> 3 dayI really like this keyboard although, I do miss my f1 keys. I have a few problems with this keyboard but Im not sure if its really that avoidable. First is over time the keycaps tend to build up with dead skin on top and on the sides of the keycaps. Second, Im not sure if its the keyboards issue or mine but ever since I switched keyboards, this one once in a while keeps disconnecting itself and all inputs wouldnt work until I unplug and plug the usbc right inside.

> 3 dayThis thing is amazing. Great keycaps, great switches, and a great build. Unfortunate that it freezes randomly. Heard the Hades doesnt have that issue so Ill try it out. Hope they can nail that issue down and update whats shipped.

> 3 dayI had some concerns due to so many reviews that Ive seen regarding issues with freezing and all sorts of other problems. But so many of those things just went out the window as soon as I started using the keyboard and felt it in hand and typing. The quality is so much better than what I had expected. The build of the frame, the sound signature, the feel of the keycaps. All so much better than what I have experienced before. I have been long time user of other main stream brands like Razer and Corsair, and no knocks on those boards, they served me well but the experience with this has been a step above. One of the main standouts is the stabilizers. Man I was so used to rattling stabilizers that I thought it was normal. What a breath of fresh air man. My gaming experience is so much more improved since it takes up so much less space on my desk, so I can move my mouse around without hitting the keyboard every now and then as I used to. But of course this isnt ideal for my day to day use which is programming. I have actually made the effort to get used to using the board though just because of how nice it is. I do plan on purchasing a TKL from Durgod (the K320 Corona) based on my experience with the Venus, to use as my daily driver for work purposes and then use the Venus just for gaming. That does seem excessive when i think about it and almost a waste of the Venus but alas, some things are just easier with dedicated keys. I will HIGHLY recommend this little board and NO I havent experienced any of the freezing issues that other users have noted in their reviews and I hope I dont in the coming months ahead. Oh and the silent switches are awesome.

> 3 dayI got bit by the issue with keys randomly repeating. I loved this keyboard but its too unreliable. What is more annoying is this happened after I returned a Durgod Hades because it would stop typing until I pulled and reinserted the USB cord. Otherwise, typing is a dream on this keyboard. It sounds so good and the keys have little flex. It makes me sad to return it.

Greater than one weekI love this keyboard, the silent brown switches are great, the board feels very high quality, overall really positive experience so far. I will say the software for the keyboard is a bit clunky, and havent quite gotten used to it yet. I would not hesitate to buy this again, and will definitely be recommending to friends in the market.

> 3 dayTo start with, the keyboard, when working, is fantastic. Its weighty, the keys/switches feel great, the colors are beautiful. Unfortunately, I like many other started having build quality issues. My issue in particular being the connection glitching, leaving the last pressed key being sent repeatedly until it was unplugged and plugged back in. The issue started very infrequently, until it became a multiple times a day issue. I contacted the manufacturer, they responded same day, which is great. Except that once I told them my issue and provided the address/phone as they requested, they ghosted me. It has been 2 months since their last reply to me, and I have followed up from their latest email 5 times since then. If you are going to purchase this keyboard, you NEED to get the accidental coverage from Asurion, so that they can handle the problem instead of Durgod, as they will not help you. TL;DR - Amazing keyboard with build quality problems, terrible manufacturer. Buy additional insurance if you must have it.

> 3 dayThe keyboard will randomly freeze in the middle of gaming or typing. The lights stay on, but no key inputs work. I have had this happen at least 15 times since I purchased this keyboard in Feb. I will be in the middle of a game and the keyboard will stop responding. Usually a quick reset of the keyboard by unplugging it and plugging back in fixes it. The last time happened today and the reset didnt work. It killed my USB port, swapped to a different port, and it killed that one too. I had to reboot my PC to get the USB ports back, and now the keyboard is working fine again(for now). It is very frustrating, because I really do enjoy the build quality of this keyboard. I am going to end up getting a Ducky if this happens much more.
