> 3 dayAbsolute steal! First of all the quality.. the quality!!! Perfection, truly impressed by the gentlemen overseas. The luned switches!!! Do I even have to say anything else?! If you are willing to lube those switches independently you’re taking pride in what you do and you cannot replicate not in this market: I would recommend 10/10. Absolutely stunned at this keyboard. I make and own at least 10 different mechanical and regular artisan boards: this is a jaw dropping step: keep it up gents.

> 3 dayThis keyboard is as great as all the other reviews suggest and I think people shouldnt be afraid to buy one. You really cant go wrong here. The stabs are amazing, the spacebar doesnt even sound like its stabilized at all - it sounds amazing. But here are a few cons Ive noticed: 1. The USB-C connection on the back is heavily recessed and none of my USB-C cables fit in it, so you pretty much have to use the one it comes with. I tried 5 different cables, including my braided/coiled keyboard cable and none work. 2. The lighting doesnt do a good job pulling off pure-white, but not a lot of RGB solutions do. 3. The font on the keycaps is not stenciled on the top layer, but is below, which causes light to be blocked by the stencil area. Its not super noticeable but its there. These are my first PBT double-shot keycaps so this is probably a common problem with most boards that employ this method. 4. The cherry blue .4mm o-rings work great to silence this board, but some keys (A and Q for example) act like the o-ring isnt even there. Perhaps I need to get some .2mm o-rings for those. Its possible this issue wont affect other switch types. Im using Kailh Reds. Anyway, this board sounds like butter. Its really amazing. I dont see any imperfections in the aluminum finish either. Its built solid, nothing rattles even if you shake it like a baby.

> 3 dayReally great keyboard except for the random disconnects which happens about once per day. I really like the build quality and how typing feels with the gateron reds. Unfortunately due to the keyboard requiring reconnecting it once per day I will be returning and going to grab a mecha mini.

> 3 dayThis keyboard is amazinggg. The stabilizers are outstanding and are lubedd. YES LUBED STABILIZERS IN A PRE BUILT KEYBOARD. The rgb is sooo bright. Dont worry u can lower down the brightness of it too. The only come is the software. Its very difficult to use for me but for other people, it might be easy. You dont necessarily need the software but its good to have it. Overall its amazing. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayMy friend has a Ducky Frozen Lama (aluminum case) which I was using as my first mechanical keyboard. I got this because of the great reviews on Reddit. First off, it’s easily equal to the Ducky Frozen Lama. RGB lighting is equal. Build quality is equal. A little less ping noise because if the sound dampening material inside. The quick tap arrows put it over the top. I rate this better than the Ducky and have given it back to my friend. I can confirm the freezing issues have been long fixed. You can’t go wrong with this keyboard! Also, one day shipping as opposed to the 3 month wait for another Ducky Frozen Mini. I went with the Cherry Speed Silvers as they feel the best to me gaming. I have a soft touch (I guess) because I don’t accidentally hit keys. I got some HK Gaming white pudding cap on the way and some key switch rings to dampen the noise and shorten the stroke a bit more (was on the keyboard I borrowed and I liked it a lot). Can’t wait to put them in!

18-11-2024I really like this keyboard although, I do miss my f1 keys. I have a few problems with this keyboard but Im not sure if its really that avoidable. First is over time the keycaps tend to build up with dead skin on top and on the sides of the keycaps. Second, Im not sure if its the keyboards issue or mine but ever since I switched keyboards, this one once in a while keeps disconnecting itself and all inputs wouldnt work until I unplug and plug the usbc right inside.

> 3 dayThis keyboard is flawless. I was using a ducky one 2 mini before before and the Durgod Venus is hands down better. Build quality is amazing and I’m loving the Kailh box white switches.

> 3 dayPros: Stylish, feels like quality materials, cool RGB effects Cons: Freezes mid sentence, you have to cycle power to the keyboard to recover at which point you have to reprogram the RGB or select it from their horrible KB app. The app doesnt resize for resolution so in my case, my 1520x1440 display caused the screen to clip the upper and lower portions so I could not use the app without changing resolution first, then was required to use the task manager to kill the app. Its terribly annoying especially coupled with the constant resets. Without those two issues it would be rated much higher but the freezes and software are nonstarters. I have requested a refund/return and I bought the Red Dragon instead.

> 3 dayI just dont have the time or patience for full custom keyboards. This one gets the job done with panache, with its aluminum body and bevy of switch options. The Kaihl Box Jade switches are BEEFY and clicky. Way more force needed compared to Cherry MX Blues. But the sound is more pleasing to me with the Kaihl. The quality of construction is great. Its well-built, solid, and the customization software isnt total garbage. It is a little pricey, but then so is the Ducky Mecha Mini. And this thing is much more readily available. I have a Ducky One 2 TKL, and the build quality of the Durgod is probably better (chassis doesnt flex like the Ducky plastic chassis does). If this were $110-$120, it would be a home run. But I see its already gone up $10 in price since I bought it six weeks ago :/ 10-month update: Ive had zero issues with this little tank of a keyboard. Ive not had any issues with the customization software, and have had no issues with freezing or repeating characters on my unit. The switches are just as they were the day I received it, and the board/case has no issues with flex or creaking. Im really happy with my unit, and just purchased another (this time with the Cherry MX Silent Red switches to contrast from the Kaihl Box Jades).

> 3 dayGot the white PBT board with Gat Yellow switches. The RGB really pops with the white version. Gateron Yellows are super smooth, and make Cherry Reds seem scratchy. The springs on the linear Gat Yellows are perfectly weighted. The stabilizers on this board are lubed and smoother than pretty much any prebuilt out there, including Ducky. If you want Gateron or Kailh switches, this board is a no-brainer since Ducky doesnt currently offer those options. If you want Cherrys, the choice is harder - between this and the Ducky Mecha Mini. (No issues with keyboard freezing, so maybe HK Gaming included the newer cables with this batch?) Just to add - I have 3 Durgods (2 Venus and a Hades). None of them have had any issue with freezing as a few reviewers have claimed. According to Durgod, the issue could be with the original cables in certain environments (Im assuming lack of proper shielding on the old cables). Contact HK Gaming for replacement cables if youre having issues. Again, Ive had zero problems with any of the three keyboards. Ok, got a 3rd board (lol) with Kailh Box Red switches, and wow. The Gat Yellows used to be my favorite but the Box Reds are just as smooth while being a tad faster for gaming (total travel 3.6mm vs 4.0). They also have zero key wobble due to the box design. And theyre not too fast or light to be unusable for typing (like Speed switches). Just a great all-round key switch.
