Really nice metal frame it has dampeners in it. Custom keys to fit in your hand well. Overall great keyboard.

Couldnt be happier, got the box red in the white variant body and this thing is just awesome. I have many different boards and switch types this thing blows them all away with its lighting and especially software. The key caps are a little different feeling than your standard double shot pbt but still have a really nice feeling to them. And i love this software since you can get it to mimic anything on a full sized board with ease. Have had a ducky one two mini and hands down the Venus is better whether it comes to lighting or switch selection and in most cases it even seems the price is cheaper which to me is nuts with how awesome this board is.

this is my first mechanical keyboard, and its mostly perfect—except that the right shift key wont fire unless i tap super hard, which severely interrupts the flow of my typing. i took the keycap off and cleaned it, but im still having the same issue. i love the keyboard otherwise, so i guess ill just learn to be a left-hand shifter. i do miss arrow keys more than i thought i would, but programmable keys make that no big deal.

This keyboard is amazinggg. The stabilizers are outstanding and are lubedd. YES LUBED STABILIZERS IN A PRE BUILT KEYBOARD. The rgb is sooo bright. Dont worry u can lower down the brightness of it too. The only come is the software. Its very difficult to use for me but for other people, it might be easy. You dont necessarily need the software but its good to have it. Overall its amazing. Highly recommend.

Straight outta the box and this little mech is amazing. I’ve tried Gateron silent browns and silent reds and it sounds amazing. There is slight ping on some keys but I am sure it’s an easy fix. Stabs are nice and lubed which is a PLUS.

This review is for the Durgod Venus with Kailh Box Red switches Written on 2/22/2020 Pros: - Solid Aluminum Construction - Factory Lubricated Stabilizers - PBT Double Shot Keycaps - Extremely Powerful (Optional) Software, more on this in my thoughts - Sound dampening foam - Solid RGB Lighting - Tap Arrow key functionality - Includes USB A -> C, and C ->C cables - Includes nice wire key cap puller Cons: - No elevation adjustment Thoughts: Guys..... You dont even know. It actually baffles me how this brand isnt the most sought after thing on the internet. Im losing my mind at how good it feels. Every key stroke is so buttery smooth with only the switch making any noise whatsoever. The aluminum construction is rock solid. Absolutely no flexing, or squishyness to be found here. These switches on this board, are the best things I have ever felt also. They are smooth unlike any other switch Ive tried. I usually go for browns of some sort, but I really wanted to try these since I was considering building a custom keyboard with another type of linear switch. The quality of this thing is just something else. The ONLY better option would be to custom build, and even then its going to be the same quality, except you can say that you built it yourself. It really doesnt get much better than this. The lubricated stabilizers on all of the modifier keys make the keys almost non-existent. If youve never felt a lubed spacebar, youre in for something special. The software is amazing as well. Its not like other software youve used before. Its a compiler software, which means that you actually build your own firmware. This is really nice because, if you wanted, you could install it, customize every single key, on every single FN layer (FN1, FN2, FN1+FN2) to do whatever you want, then uninstall it and the keyboard will always have your customization. The tap arrow functionality is an extremely nice feature for a 60% keyboard. You know that the size of a 60% is wonderful, but you have to sacrifice your arrow keys. Not here. When you turn on the tap function (FN1+Capslock), your right shift, ctrl, fn1, and fn2 become your arrow keys. If you tap them for less than 200ms, they seamlessly act as arrow keys. If you hold them longer than that, they function as their regular selves. Look, if youre on the fence about giving one of these a try, just do it, you really wont regret it. You WILL NOT find anything better at this price point. Durgod have managed to manufacture an enthusiast grade keyboard, at an affordable price. Forget Ducky, and any other big name you can think of like Logitech, or Razer. This is head and shoulders above those. As usual, if anything changes, like something breaks or stops working as intended, Ill create a timestamped edit and adjust my ratings.

I love everything about the keyboard, but Hera Compiler. I cannot get my profiles downloaded onto the keyboard. When I click download, and then download again on the popup box...nothing happens. Does anybody else have this issue?

My friend has a Ducky Frozen Lama (aluminum case) which I was using as my first mechanical keyboard. I got this because of the great reviews on Reddit. First off, it’s easily equal to the Ducky Frozen Lama. RGB lighting is equal. Build quality is equal. A little less ping noise because if the sound dampening material inside. The quick tap arrows put it over the top. I rate this better than the Ducky and have given it back to my friend. I can confirm the freezing issues have been long fixed. You can’t go wrong with this keyboard! Also, one day shipping as opposed to the 3 month wait for another Ducky Frozen Mini. I went with the Cherry Speed Silvers as they feel the best to me gaming. I have a soft touch (I guess) because I don’t accidentally hit keys. I got some HK Gaming white pudding cap on the way and some key switch rings to dampen the noise and shorten the stroke a bit more (was on the keyboard I borrowed and I liked it a lot). Can’t wait to put them in!

This keyboard is absolutely amazing. Super solid aluminum frame, really nice PBT keycaps, bright rgb, and the typing experience is super smooth due to the gateron brown switches. The software is a little bit rough around the edges, but once you figure it out it has so much customization. I traded my Razer Huntsman Mini for this keyboard and it was worth it. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a switch to a 60% keyboard. ( As of August 18th) My board has already frozen twice. Once today and once yesterday. All you have to do is unplug and plug your keyboard back in but it is definitely annoying. Requested a new cable from HK gaming and they happily sent one out. However, the cable did not fix the freezing issue. I am going to request for a full replacement and see if that one also freezes.
