> 3 dayA great storage tank for gasoline. No more spilling gasoline. Stores 5 gallons and is simple to refill. The funnel fits snug and no spills. A very safe storage container.

Greater than one weekAfter replacing 2 plastic gas cans for our power leaf blower and our power bush trimmer I decided to pay a little more for this can which will last a life time. And I like the color coding for gas that is mixed with oil. I have the larger 6 gallon red cans that I got used and they have worked for me for about 30 years now. Even if they fall over they dont leak out. Good price and great delivery.

Greater than one weekThe gas can will probably out-last me. I have three I use them all the time. The funnel is another matter, its shoddy and they only last about a year. So I buy funnels way too often. Sure wish they would improve the UV resistance of the plastic.

25-04-2025This would be a good can, even with the completely obnoxious spout that they are forced to put on these things now, but the flame arrestor screen doesnt seem to come out making it completely useless for filling tanks that need a siphon to reach. There is no way this is going to be useful if I cant stick the pump down into the can to pull fuel. I welcome any correction, in fact Id love to have someone tell me Im wrong, if that thing comes out without performing major surgery on the can let me know and Ill be happy to raise the review.

> 3 dayIt is difficult to get one of these gas cans without a side dent. Poor quality control by the producer is very poor!

20-04-2025A very good safety can for storage. The funnel is difficult to get on and off. Other than that it is a good can that doesnt leak. I would recommend.

> 3 dayPlastic gas cans can explode! They do not have a flame arrester in the nozzle. There are videos on Youtube that show this. For the sake of yourself and your family, use a steel can with a flame arrester, like this one. Yes, they are expensive, but they are safer and will last longer. I like this little 1-gallon can for my string trimmer and I have a larger one for my mower. Eagle makes good products. Pouring the gas is a little awkward due to the need to pull back the handle and pour at the same time, but its worth a little inconvenience in order to be safe.

> 3 dayKind of wonder if these are seconds or copies. Bought one at Lowes about 2 years ago for $50, best gas can ever. So when I saw this one for $35 I couldnt pass it up. Just received it and noticed a few things different from my original. First, the paint is nothing like on my one from Lowes. The yellow looks like the machine was running out of paint, not very uniform. Second, the funnel is extremely difficult to put on and remove. Took some work to get it on and off. And third, under the cap there is a rubber gasket and a metal ring, the metal ring is not completely flat and sticks up on one side. Im hoping when I fill up the fuel doesnt leak when I release the handle. At this point it appears to be 100 times better than the New York compliant cans but at first glance appears to be different from my original one.
