Eagle UI-50-FS Red Galvanized Steel Type I Gasoline Safety Can with Funnel, 5 gallon Capacity, 13.5 Height, 12.5 Diameter,Red/Yellow

I bought this as a spare gas can as emergency fuel supply for my SUV when doing back-country excursions. Id previously purchased and used a 1-gallon can for refilling the tank on lawnmower, snowthrower and Honda generator and thought this would be preferable to the leaky plastic ones Id been using. Unfortunately I did not realize at the time the significant difference between the Type I (with a plastic funnel) and Type II (with a metal flexible funnel). For refilling a vehicle, I should have got the Type II because, as one reviewer noted, the plastic funnel does not allow sufficient angle when trying to pour horizontally into a vehicles gas tank. I think the manufacturer and resellers should do a better job of explaining the difference, which is why I gave it only 4 stars.

Awesome gas can which doesnt leak - we use it for the chain saw gas which needs to be mixed with oil. Very affordable and much better than cheap plastic ones sold at Wal-Mart or auto parts stores. Highly recommended!

It works as designed. I use this for 2-cycle oil/gas mixture. I feel more comfortable than using plastic containers.

When the earth is destroyed, only termites and Eagle gas cans will survive. This thing is solidly constructed and probably as safe to use as any gasoline container currently available. I find the plastic spout to be a little cumbersome to get off and on while refilling. Maybe it’s just me. Still, it’s the best container I’ve found in this modern era of government-tinkering gas cans.

What can I say but this can did what it’s supposed to do and went above and beyond. Lost my 16 ft enclosed trailer with 16k worth of equipment and everything burned except for this gas can. Still had 3 gallons of gas In it. Pretty amazing! If you want safety buy this.

Awesome can

I could not find this type of gas can in a 1 gallon capacity locally. It is just the right capacity for mixing oil with 1 gallon of gas. Being I only use the mixed gas for my weed trimmer I did not need any larger of a gas can. The quality of the gas can seems to be very good. I would expect this can to last me for many years if not even for the rest of my life. Was well packaged and received it quickly.
