Its an old style safety can much like the one I had over 30 years ago. Good, sturdy steel construction. Theres a flash arrestor just inside the pour spout, just a piece of wire screen, but it keeps any possible vapor flash at the spout from getting inside the can. Also keeps trash out. Two things I dont care for. The funnel is all but useless when installed like its supposed to be because it limits your range of movement when filling a tank. I just use an old large mouth funnel instead. The pull handle used to open the spout is made of plastic (old ones were painted steel) so Im not sure how that will last. But, all in all, it beats the daylights out of the plastic so-called safety cans that are available at the box stores.

Love these gas cans, well worth the extra cost. No idea why they are so hard to come by locally.

The funnel is pain to put on and take off. Its just too tight of a fit.

Advertises it comes with funnel but mine did not. Good gas tank but it will probably come incomplete

Funnel and handles great for filling garden tractor and snowblower that were a pain before. I was always getting splash back before, this makes it easy to control the flow of gas.

This can came with paint chipping around spout and base. It also had a dent in the tank.
