I recently purchased the Safety Fire Blanket for home use and I must say I am thoroughly impressed! You just never know when you are going to need something like this and it is a great addition to my emergency bag. Made of 100% glass fiber material, the fireproof quality is top-notch. I am confident that in the event of a fire, this blanket will effectively stop the spread of flames and reduce property damage. Not to mention, I can use it on myself if necessary, which makes me feel so secure. It seems very easy to use, just take a release strap in each hand and pull downwards and outwards over the area thats on fire. I have it hanging in my closet next to my emergency bag. I like that it comes in a bag to store it in. Knowing that the fire blanket undergoes strict quality inspection to ensure that each product is up to customer satisfaction makes me feel very confident that I am purchasing a safety product that can actually deliver as advertised. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a safety device that is easy to use and offers complete peace of mind in case of small fires.

Everyone is aware of fire extinguishers and the importance of having smoke alarms in the home, but I think these fire blankets are just as important. You get four fire blankets in the package and they all come in individual bags that are easy to hang in places around your house or car. To use, you just pull the tab at the bottom to quickly access the blanket to smother a fire. Thankfully I have not had to use these blankets yet, but just having them gives me piece of mind in case of an emergency. If you are wanting to add an easy and effective tool for fire safety, you can’t go wrong with these blankets.

Handy to have on hand in the event of a fire or to protect yourself to get out of a fire.

I recently bought several fire blankets to put in the house, the camping trailer and the car. I realized that this would be a good thing for my kids who live away from home. Its one of those things you hope they never use but want to have just in case. I saw this set of 4 that is almost $10 cheaper than the other set of four I ordered not too long ago, I thought I would give them a try. After looking them over, I would say these are identical. They feel the same (almost an oily feeling thick mesh, but without any oil) They are packaged the same, just with different print on the outside. So I think its a good deal for the same thing. I made a safety wall in my pantry so the kids know where to go in an emergency for good tools (see picture) I also wanted it near the stove in case of a grease fire or other similar fire. I cant rate it on functionality since I havent used it yet (and hope to never have to!) But I can rate it on bringing me some peace of mind.

I found this set to be quite nice. The fire blanket looks to be sturdy and well made. Though I hope I will never have to use this, I believe that if I do, this will help to either put out the fire or keep what is wrapped in it safe. The size is great for smothering a small fire or for wrapping a child in it. Looking at it, I believe I could wrap my young 4 year old in it and keep him safe from any flames if needed. It is also nice that this came in a four pack for it allows you to store them at strategic places within the home or even keep one in your vehicle while also around the home.

We have multiple fire extinguishers in our home but not all fires are the same. Some may respond better to other methods of extinguishing. Half of all structural fires in the United States start in the kitchen. According to the National Fire Protection Association US fire departments responded to an estimated average of 172,900 home structure fires per year started by cooking activities in 2014-2018. These fires caused an average of 550 civilian deaths, 4,820 reported civilian fire injuries, and more than $1 billion in direct property damage per year. A quick search on YouTube can demonstrate just how often cooks and kitchen workers do the absolute wrong thing when confronted by a kitchen fire. Spoiler: pouring water on a grease fire is a recipe for disaster. Along with an our fire extinguishers, a fire blanket can help add security to our cooking efforts. These are well packaged and small enough to fit in any kitchen. They are large enough to cover most home stoves. We keep one, along with extinguishers in our home, garage, and camper. Hopefully you’ll never need to use it but, if a fire breaks out it could be a lifesaver. Full Disclosure: I acquired this as a Vine user. I keep one in our truck, one or two in the kitchen, and keep them easy to access in any area (my shop) where an open flame is being used. Easy to grasp and remove from hanging storage, unfold and quickly deploy. I use one when Ive done some landscaping burns on our meadow for use in managing the work and having another fire snuffing tool at hand. Very effective.

These are good to have on hand but they smell awful. I put them out on the porch to air out and hopefully that bad odor will leave. I dont like to breathe in chemicals and things that put out a strong odor. I am happy to have these and hope that I never have to use it.

Compact design, decent sized blanket. I was able to easily refold and put it back in the bag. The grommet hole on top is easy to hang it somewhere close.
