I keep one in our truck, one or two in the kitchen, and keep them easy to access in any area (my shop) where an open flame is being used. Easy to grasp and remove from hanging storage, unfold and quickly deploy. I use one when Ive done some landscaping burns on our meadow for use in managing the work and having another fire snuffing tool at hand. Very effective.

These are good to have on hand but they smell awful. I put them out on the porch to air out and hopefully that bad odor will leave. I dont like to breathe in chemicals and things that put out a strong odor. I am happy to have these and hope that I never have to use it.

This comes ready to mount to a hook or screw in your hazard zone. If needed, pull on the black straps hanging off the bottom and out comes the blanket. No, I did not try fire suppression as thankfully I didnt need to. It looks like it works but I cant say I tested

I gave these ratings based off what I can tell from the product, but have not had a fire emergency yet to actually try this on, and wasnt about to go test it and waste one blanket. These products are supposedly very legit, and work by smothering the oxygen, so I wanted an extra one for the garage and the basement, in lieu of another fire extinguisher. This particular one does appear to have an actual fire safety certification on it as well, so hopefully thats also legit. And hopefully Ill never have to use these, but you can never be too careful with having emergency supplies on hand if the moment comes.

A few weeks ago I was driving on the interstate and saw a huge ball of fire on the shoulder. As I got closer I realized it was an RV on fire! The truck pulling it had unhooked the hitched and pulled forward, and the owners were watching it burn. I called 911, and the fire department was already on its way. I could feel the heat of the fire as I drove past. It was really sad! I have often thought that I have little fire protection in my RV-and in my home. I saw an ad on social media for this product, and took the opportunity to do a little search and found this product. I will keep one in my kitchen and one in my RV, and will hope to never use them . . . but will have them should the need arise. I think this just needs to be a staple in every place where famlies gather and cook, for safety as well as peace of mind.

Ordered this fire blanket to have on hand for emergency use. I like how it is packaged in a bright red vinyl case to be easy to find when you need it, and very sturdy with an easy to open velcro closure. Its compact enough that it fits perfectly in one of my utensil drawers next to the range top of my oven - it will be at my fingertips if / when needed. For the low price this blanket is giving me a lot of peace of mind. Recommended.

Having worked in Emergency Services for several years, I find it essential to have fire response items in my home and vehicles. I ordered several of these blankets to keep in our home and in each vehicle that we have. In the house I have it hanging on a hook below our fire extinguisher near the kitchen. These are invaluable for throwing on a person that may be engulfed in flames, as it is not prudent to spray someone with an extinguisher. You can also wrap this around your body when attempting to escape a house fire to prevent burns and catching fire. This type of blanket is reusable and washable, and made of a good thickness and it never expires. The prices on this listing are more than reasonable, as I’ve seen other sellers selling these for more than twice as much. These are important preps to keep handy in case of emergencies.

Very well made, heavy material however, in all honesty a full review of this product cant be made unless its actually used to put out a fire.

Hopefully I will never be able to find out how well these fire blankets work. I have placed them in our linen closet so if there should ever be a need for them, hopefully we can get to them quickly and utilize them. They do come packaged well and in a compact case with a grommet so you can hang it up.

Clearly I haven’t used this yet so the review is more about the idea if it works as claimed. Hopefully I never have to use this but it is good insurance to have. I love that it is small, doesn’t expire like fire extinguishers and you can hang it where you want or need it no pulling a pin or trying to unhook the holder when you are in a stressful situation, simply pull the tabs and the blanket comes out. I plan to have one in the car, and each barn on the farm.
