For such a simple, easy to use device it works like a charm. From outside your blinds at night it looks exactly like there is a TV playing inside. The two different timer settings are very handy. Overall the device is quite convincing and a great bargain.

Purchased as a gift to a family member who loved how well this product worked.

Disappointing purchase. The unit did not work as advertised. I used it once on a vacation and it seemed to work. But when I plugged it in again, it was completely dead. Feels like a total waste of money, unfortunately.

Fake TV works in our living room w/ a low light on in the background. Yes, it looks like the TV is on. If deciding to buy it, I would get the one w/ more light. I was surprised at how small it is. That made me happy. Also, I point Fake TV out towards the window (plantation shutters) and it works well.

We have the gen before this one, and it is pretty dim. This one is super bright so easy to see from outside, even behind blinds and drapes. Definitely recommend.

It was great while it worked. It stopped working not too long after we got back from vacation. That is the one plus I guess, that we made it through vacation.
