FakeTV FTV-11 Extra Bright Burglar Deterrent Television Simulator

Looks pretty realistic although its slightly dim for a big room. I wish it had some way to create fake audio as well though.

Just got back from a 7 day cruse with no break in. My neighbor says it looks real from his side of the street. It is bright enough to show through our dark and rather heavy curtains. I bought a second one when I tested the first one. So we had TV in the living room and later at night the late show in the master. You need to take the time to get the light positioned for the best illusion, not to close or too far away from the windows, this must be done at night.

It does work and it really looks like a TV. The suggestion I would have is to be able to put it on a random timer. I put a timer on mine.

Needs to be more powerful for bigger rooms.

I use it every time I go out of town.

Every time I turn this unit on and leave our home, as we drive away we can see the TV-like lights playing on the windows of our T V room and we feel good about it

The Fake TV is small so it will fit onto a small table or even the window sill, works as described. From the outside it does resemble a tv being on, give the house an occupied appearance. Use it in a spare bedroom along with a timer on a lamp which has random settings.

I can’t believe how great this works. It really does look like a television is on from outside. This is perfect to have the appearance that someone is home and awake.

We have the gen before this one, and it is pretty dim. This one is super bright so easy to see from outside, even behind blinds and drapes. Definitely recommend.
