Great for product. We use it in our out of state vacation home. Looks like someone is home in addition to timer lights.

wahoo......looks just like a tv is on from the out side, we put a random timer on and now it will come on at different times.......

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very effective. You have to play around to find the optimum positioning.

Really impressive! I was a bit skeptical when opening the box, but it does put out the light. It was worth purchasing the more expensive model for the multicolor options. We feel much better using it rather than leaving a set on timer. The more distance from the window improves the illusion, too close and it is too bright.

It does look like the TV is on but be careful where you install this piece. It has some good points and from what I can tell, after moving around for best effect, its definitely worth the money. Again, it all depends on how its situated in relationship to your TV and exposed windows. Be cool about checking your setup at night since the neighbors have big eyes and are probably the crooks you are trying to avoid. Mine seems to be in the right place after a couple of moves and different pointing tries. The adjustable timer is a plus but smart crooks know and get acquainted with a house where the TV is on at a certain time and then goes off the same time every night. I think , overall, this does create a deterrent but some crooks will come right up to the window and look in your house. Id say most good crooks know about this device or something similar so dont expect miracles. Over all .. I would recommend to a friend as long as they know about the setup.
