I have an old Vanguard leather chair/ottoman that was showing its age (unfortunately I dont have before photos). The leather had a natural finish to it so it easily scratched and wore. The chair itself was in too good of shape to get rid of so I started looking around for a leather finish to apply to bring it back to life. This stuff works! Wow was I impressed. I bought 2 bottles I figured for the price why not give it a shot. Used maybe 3/4 of the first bottle on the chair and ottoman, a little bit goes a long way. It’s a nice shiny finish now and look as if I had it reupholstered. It dries in what seems seconds too. I did a couple coats to build the shine up. If you can wipe on a finish with a microfiber cloth you can do this to any leather you wish to rejuvenate. Highly recommend to anyone.

I am not a craft-y person, but I found the Fiebings dyes and Resolene finish to be fairly easy to apply. I had been told that the Resolene has a shiny finish, so it was recommended to me that I cut the Resolene 50/50 with water, and then apply two coats. This worked great, and left a more satin finish. Of course your mileage may vary. Either way, I went from having a light colored purse that had to be cleaned constantly to having a much darker color purse that looks great.

This is a must if you use the dye. Makes the dye job look much nicer. Recommend.

I tried other treatments for my briefcase - the color of the briefcase was rubbing off on car seats, jeans, clothing - anything that it rubbed up against much - and that was a real problem for me - love the briefcase but having it slung at my side caused the color to come off on my pants as I walked or my shoulder from the leather shoulder strap. Tried rubbing it all over, applying multiple coats of other stuff ... this one was the only one that worked! ... I put two light coats on it and no staining any more no matter how hard I rub on the leather - even with white cloth. Very pleased - easy to use and dried fast - maybe 15 minutes per coat... and I have a bunch left - it goes a long way. Definitely saved my briefcase from being unusable.

I liked that it was easy to use . A bit darker than I expected for saddle I was thinking more of a tan look . Dried well .
