After cleaning my old leather purse, I applied the Resolene finish. Was easy to apply, went on smoothly, dried quickly and gave a new sheen to my tired leather purse. Would recommend!

I had to refinish a leather ottoman that was slightly damaged by nail polish remover. I used Fiebings Leather Stain in British Tan color to restain the spot, which was approximately 3 x 4. After a few coats, I applied one coat the entire ottoman. I finished with the Fiebings Acrylic Resolene Dye Top Finish. The result is fantastic, perfect amount of shine (not too shiny as I read in other reviews) and the stain was sealed in with no color bleeding. I applied a thin coat, let it dry, then applied another thin coat followed by light buffing and voila the ottoman looks like new. Im quite pleased with this product and definitely recommend. I dont know how it would work on top of other brands of dye, but I imagine the results would be similar.

I have used this stuff to seal inexpensive untreated leather products where it gives them a vibrant color and glossy sheen. It also puts strong water resistance into the leather. As a waterproofer it works much better than the kiwi spray shoe waterproofer. It comes as a thin milky liquid that gets sticky as it starts to dry but finishes shiny and smooth. Expect to ruin rags applying it but it is easy to use, has many uses, and looks gorgeous.
