Loved this product. Worked extremely well. After the dye dried, I was able to use this to seal the color and had very minimal rub off. Dont know if its water proof, but it seems so.

Amazing results gave my seat that shiny look without that slip

I applied 3 coats (drying between the application ) on my old leather chair that I just dye using same brand. I have not seat on the chair with light color clothes, so I am not sure if color will rub off or this will really seals the dye. I will come back and update the review. Just for the looks of this finished, it is shiny, but doesnt look bad for the chairs that I have. However, it maybe bit too shiny if you are using it on clothing.

This finisher produces a shiny, almost wet look on your leather products, even after it dries. The finisher goes on with a towel and dries relatively quickly. The finish has a slightly displeasing texture. It makes your leather less plush, but this is a small sacrifice for the protection that you are providing for your leather products. overall I am pleased with this finish but may seek something else after this wears off and needs to be reapplied. This is the reason for the 4 out of 5 star rating.

Came clumpy and foamy from being allowed to freeze, and non returnable. Like so many others reviewing this product, I got screwed on it.

I got this to stop a newly dyed pistol holster from rubbing off on my clothes and hands. I was very pleasantly surprised that after following instructions and applying several coats over the black dye, the color stopped rubbing off. Its been a couple of months now and so far, so good.

The good: I recently moved to Hawaii which was great for me and not so great for my pumpkin orange deco style recliner chair. My favorite chair - so much so that I shipped it here. Well as soon as my chair hit the heat & humidity it actually started to peel. Just a tiny bit on the back to start but was getting larger every time we sat on it. I purchased this product to “paint” around the peeled part to stop further peeling. And it worked perfectly fine. The peeling has stopped. The bad: The product was very thin so it ran quite a bit. I used a 1” foam brush so I wouldn’t have streak marks but I wish I had used a much smaller touch up brush. Or had something to blot my brush in before taking it to the chair so if you look very closely I have a few run marks that - even though I wiped with a damp towel right away are still there. The ugly: The chair has an odd finish - neither matte nor shiny. This product dried a bit shinier than the actual chair so left on its own it was a bit tacky looking which is a bummer because it was an expensive chair. But I found a fabulous throw and now only I know what’s behind it. So in the end it solved my problem.
