Fiebings Pure Neatsfoot Oil

About 30 years ago I had a shoe/leather repair shop and used this stuff. I need some for an old saddlebag and was pleased to see it is the same quality as many years ago. Just. Good. Stuff.

I soaked some old reins in a bowl of oil overnight, it worked amazingly!! I used a couple layers of it on some old boots and it bought them back to life! LOVE this stuff!

I have a classic car that I used neastsfoot oil on to protect the dash. The car sat up for 20 years and now we are restoring it. Modern products didn,t compare to what plan old neastsfoot oil did, which made it look brand new again.

I used this product to condition a match rifle sling.....it worked flawlessly. Extremely effective! Highly recommended!

Received this product quickly. Arrived undamaged. The oil goes on smooth with little effort on a stropping block. People have been commenting on the smell of this product, it just smells like frying grease, melted lard, etc.. I have NO problem with the smell, its goes away in a few minutes anyway. For a 16oz jug 12 bucks is a very fair price. I guess that I have commented on a fair price, they will double the price within a few days. Happens every time. This is a fine product for what its made for...

I learned the hard way with another oil-based product. But for work boots or baseball gloves, this product will make the leather will become softer, more supple, much less likely to crack; the leather will not absorb moisture and dissolved salt. But you will lose the ability get the item to shine. To get all of the above, and a preserve the ability to shine, talk to your dress shoe manufacturer for the proper regimen and materials. Most of the finer shoe manufactures make there own balm, cream paste, and some have a final shine product as well.
