Used to treat new un-dyed leather. This is the stuff to limber up the leather (new or old) and protect from moisture.

You get a lot for the money, works as it should to protect leather.

I soaked this stuff into all my leather belts, and leather key chains. New leather belts usually can be stiff, dont use them right the way, lube them up with this stuff, and let the oil soak in, and the belts become soft and bendy, so they dont crack easy. It does change the color of the belt, but that is due to the belt now having oil in it, the change in color is no different than having water soaked leather. So I think that is expected and it is alright.

I had to cross a river in my leather work boots multiple times. When they dried they were super tight. I washed them up with some saddle soap and then oiled them with this oil and they are like new again. They feel like slippers. Ive had to cross rivers since using this oil and my boots can handle it much better.

If you have had anything made of leather for any length of time you probably already know about this product; if not you owe it to yourself, not to mention your leather, to find out. I use it on everything from boots to saddles and have for years. Oh yeah, it sells locally for around twice the price.

Great product I have already gone through 90% of my initial bottle and have another standing by. While I am not a leather expert I have been using Neatsfoot Oil for over 50 years without anything to prove it I think this is maybe a more refined oil than some I have used. I had more thirsty leather around here than I realized and this will be my new oil brand. I grew up in a time when leather had a lot more uses and you needed to protect the gear that protected you. Any place where you have livestock you had leather, and even the tractors and implements we used back then required a good pair of gloves, it was a time when some tractors still had a steel seat. That bottle is a bit clumsy, knocked it over just a small spill, use a bottle with a spout on it like for mustard, smaller hole.
