Fiebings Pure Neatsfoot Oil

Im not gonna lie, this stuff is pretty nasty. If you take a minute and look up what its made of you might have second thoughts about using it. Why did I give it 5 stars? Because it is by far the best leather protectant I have ever found. I will never use another leather protectant again, this product works better than advertised and even though its made of incredibly nasty pieces parts, who cares... Youre wearing leather after all lol

Most Neatsfoot oil is a 5 or 10% solution; this is 100% and works very well, as its supposed to for softening leather. Hard to find, but this is it.

From the little I know of leather maintenance I know that you want pure neatsfoot oil to protect and condition leather, nothing else. Something about other additives in popular leather conditioners eventually breaking down the stitching and other vital structural components. I have been using this for years on my boots and small leather goods with excellent results, they look as new. A very good value as well as you use such a small amount.

I use this oil on all of our leather goods, from baseball gloves, boots, handbags, leather jackets to knife sheaths. If you don’t use it, your leather goods will dry out and crack. Annually, I treat all our leather goods with this product so I go through a lot of it. My only note is that after you apply it liberally, you need to let it absorb overnight. Final note, depending on where you live and the ambient humidity, you may need more than one coat/yr. If you need it, use it because it will greatly extend the life of your leather goods.

Product was what I expected. Cant beat neatsfoot oil for leather care.

Worked great on my 40+ year old R#d Wing work boots. Poured some into a can and used a disposable paint brush to apply. I did two applications for these overly dried out boots, let set overnight and buffed the boots the next day. The boots did darken a shade or two, but that was to be expected as noted on products bottle. Otherwise, worked great and at a good price.

Really works well on waterproofing my boots and preserving my rifle sling.
