Very good item would buy again.

If you have a cracked screen, the suction cup (with heat) approach to removal will likely end up having to resort to separating the existing glass itself, largely the broad strip of the adhesive along the camera-end, to be able to remove the lower portion from the interior edge. Definitely was a 3 hour process, even after having viewed online resources/videos prior to the item arrived, to get the cracked display removed (the bulk of the time was doing so) and install the replacement front display assembly. So far, the adhesion with the pre-installed 3M adhesive seems fine- and while the home button is slightly different, it is also very very usable despite feeling a little bit more clicky with a slightly higher pitch audible feedback.

Fairly straight forward to install when following instructions and watching YouTube videos first. Recommend the heat gun. Take your time so as to not break anything else. Worked perfect, brand new screen.

Easy to replace only issue is the screen did not stick on the ipad well

Took me 20 min to complete the installation . very good product.

Highly recommended for any DIYer. No complaints. Everything included to complete the job properly, including built in adhesive (which is really important so you don’t have to custom fit your own in that tiny space). As others have said, just watch a YouTube video and follow it. Use a heat gun to loosen the adhesive and patiently pry away the screen. I suggest taping over the screen with packing tape before you get started so that you don’t have pieces of glass flying everywhere, since the screen will probably crack and shatter as you pry it away. Takes about an hour or so. Only use the metal tool to get it started, then use the plastic tools once your start prying underneath so you don’t damage anything. If you’re not sure you can handle it, watch the videos before you order.

Good product but only lasted 2 months of rough use.

The description says the adhesive comes pre-installed but that was not the case for mine, I called amazon and they offered me a credit to buy the adhesive separately. Besides that this digitizer works well on my ipad mini 2

Great replacement screen. Comes with all tools and instructions needed to complete repair. My iPad mini now looks new.
