This multimeter is amazing! Ive used Flukes before and there is little doubt they are the best multimeters you can buy. A bit expensive but if you do electrical projects on a regular basis it is absolutely worth the money for sure a durable, high quality product. Tests nearly everything you could need and with unparalleled precision.

Its cheaper than most other fluke meters but still works just as well minus a few more niche features. If you are looking for a basic multimeter with Flukes excellent build quality this is perfect for you.

writing this review years after purchase, still very happy with this multimeter. I mostly use it to check house voltage and device batteries, and it is both reliable and robust in every way. Yes, costs more than $10 devices which may do the same function, however, I wanted to never have to purchase another device and to feel confidant in my devices readout. This Fluke meter is a superbly engineered ultra robust meter!

Replaced a cheaper multimeter with this Fluke. Im working on repairing an arcade monitor chassis and this is possibly overkill, but I love it. Auto ranging is the way to go.

Hey there... Excellent Fluke 117 Multimeter, READ THE MANUAL in order to understand how it properly works. Be sure to put the Red probe @ VὨ connector if youre going to test AC / DC voltage and not Amp. I burned the fuse on the tester by mistake and had to replace it because I had to do a quick reading and hadnt READ THE MANUAL. Non-Contact Voltage Detection works great, all you have to do is put the the top of the tester near the place where you want to detect Volt.-

Works great.

Feels good, looks good and it does a good job for electrical repair.
