This product is exactly how it was described and it also taught me some things I didnt know about my hermit crabs. They were happy to,have the sand that actually suited them.

My hermit crabs have a two sided tank. One side hermit sand and one side flukers sand. They always dig on the flukers side and I hardly ever see them. They love this sand. I will be buying more, I do wish it was available in larger bags. I need 4 bags for my 10 gallon tank.

So far so good! The sand holds its shape super well! Great for digging down and molting! :) I previously had 100% pure white beach sand that held its shape, but not as well because it was a little bit courser. Im trying something new with his habitat since Im a teacher and I have to take the tank home to clean my hermies habitat. The weight with the amount of sand I used to use was extremely heavy. So I was paranoid I would drop it one day. I bought a corner water bowl for lizards to use for just sand and other substrate I have a coconut fiber, sand and rock mixture. Now just waiting on his climbing rope ladder for across the tank and were set to go back to class! :)

Product works well and Doesnt get a build up of Algae in the aquariums and the sand doesnt overly clump like other brands. Cost affective for multiple tanks.

This stuff is great, natural and not fake like the hermit crab sand at pets stores. We coupled with coconut fiber substrate and got great results, if looking to fill a 10 gallon tank with this alone, youll need at least 4 bags, just a heads up.

My little Crabby Dudes love this substrate more than plain coconut fiber their previous owner had them in.

I was very pleased with the sand. I put it in our hermit crab cage and right away they seemed to really like it. They were digging in it and eating it!
