Cant speak much for the hermit crabs! But they seem to be happy and theyre still alive. Actually theyre much more active and thats a good thing.

Get more than one bag if you have a 10+ gallon tank. One worked fine for our small terrarium. Hermit crabs seem to enjoy. Sand stays pretty moist.

We bought about five bags of this last year at about two dollars per bag and our hermit crab loves it. I was very surprised when I went back to buy more and it is now over eight dollars per bag which makes it incredibly expensive to use. We were stuck paying at this time but I’m looking for other options now which is a shame

I have to say, that since I put this sand into my hermit crab tank they have actually seemed more active and HAPPY if thats possible?? HAHA. Im not kidding! Its like they LOVE this sand for one reason or another. I saw the two of my crabs sitting there, facing each other with their little antennas going crazy. Hopefully theyre not stroking out or something. If they are, Ill update this review. but as for right now, Im serious...this stuff seems pretty good.
