Sand is actually terrible for hermit crabs they can get cuts while trying to burrow in it do not use this product

I expected the sand to be dry so that way I can easily pour it into my plastic ornaments. But it was very moist and clumpy. So I had a difficult time pouring the sand into the diameter of the plastic ornaments. I actually didn’t end up using it. But I could see other purposes that anyone could use this.

My sand arrived soaking wet!

This seems to be a good quality product. Easy to use, and my crabs seemed to be very happy and extra active when I put this in their habitat.
