Worked great in my crabs tank

We have bought this sand multiple times. We tried a different sand when this price went up a little, and I feel crazy saying this, but the hermit crabs know the difference! At first, we were a little concerned by the damp feel to this sand, but it makes sense in trying to mimic the beach. We change the sand and rearrange the aquarium every 2-3 weeks as suggested by the pet store. So, we buy this sand two bags at a time. It’s the best!

My sand arrived soaking wet!

Bag was ripped when it arrived and sand got everywhere, if I could get a new bag that would be great!

I initially bought 1 bag to start with. I soon purchased 3 more. Perfect for our Hermit Crab habitat. Needed 3 bags for our 10 gallon tank to sufficiently cover our crabs. great mixture! Will keep buying it as needed.

Too wet.

U wud b surprised how little sand this is, and how much it weighs!

Packaging suggests adding PURIFIED water to sand to aid in packing into enclosure, but as the sand was already wet when it arrived, I had to bake it in the oven until dry before I was comfortable using it. Curiously enough, a secondary item I purchased also arrived damp. Not sure whats going on at the local warehouse, the fire was 2 months ago.
