DO NOT BUY! This will literally kill your hermit crab. It gets stuck and hardens inside their shell, killing them. Literally so horrible....

It was exactly as it was listed in the posting. I was very happy with the bags of sand when they were delivered. No spillage or leaks.

I add the hermit beach all natural sand with other sand. Great!

We have bought this sand multiple times. We tried a different sand when this price went up a little, and I feel crazy saying this, but the hermit crabs know the difference! At first, we were a little concerned by the damp feel to this sand, but it makes sense in trying to mimic the beach. We change the sand and rearrange the aquarium every 2-3 weeks as suggested by the pet store. So, we buy this sand two bags at a time. It’s the best!

Way too wet, caused our enclosure to get moldy almost overnight and ended up with little gnats or something in there. Had to leave open for days to get back to normal.

My review is useless unless youre buying it to add to soil. If you are then youll have to wash it with hot water and a few water changes to remove salt and sodium carbonate. Other than my lack of attention to details it seems legit. Youll need more than one bag for a ten gallon tank. Id guess 3 for adult crabs.

My hermit loves it! Will buy again. Great price for the amount of product.
