Our hermit crab seems to really like it.

I do not recommend this product because i replaced my sand from petco with this sand my hermits seemed to do fine then my very active crab quit being active and my other crab refuses to come out of his hiding spot and couple days later I noticed my hermit crab that used to be super active COVERED in mites. Now I have to boil and replace all the sand soil and make sure my hermits are okay all because I used this sand.

Cant speak much for the hermit crabs! But they seem to be happy and theyre still alive. Actually theyre much more active and thats a good thing.

great product, we use it another substrate and our crabs love it... the texture and its ability to hold moisture makes it perfect for a hermit crab habitat

This is terrible for hermit crabs. It will eventually cement your crabs into their shells, killing them. Instead mix normal playsand and eco earth coconut coir in a 5:1 ration. And you need at least 10 inches. Check out Facebook page HCO for excellent advice!!! I have rescued 10 from deplorable conditions so far!!! The setups are a little tricky but once set up properly there is no maintenance other than food/water changes.
