Controls are complex. Many sub-sub-pages. Directions in 6 languages, but none of them very complete. I had to experiment by myself to find how to initialize a hike.

This is one of the best things I have bought so far in my carrier very accurate,fast, and easy to use I recommend you buy this if your looking for a good gps with MGRS

Definitely do not buy this if you are looking for something to track GPS data (gpx files), nor is it useful at all for tracking waypoints. Its a >$200 device that is only good for a trackback feature and looking at your current GPS location and altitude. I am thoroughly disappointed in this devices lack of functionality. It constantly glitches when syncing to my computer and the Garmin connect app (which is actually even more useless than I could have imagined)

Easy to use and good battery life. Bad accuracy indoors for me. Good product overall and Id buy it again. I like using it when hiking

With technology of today, why they didnt add a color display. Also for the money they could have also added a better wrist strap! Otherwise, it is well made, fast and very accurate.

Oky, the forst day I could not get it to work. ANGRY. The second day, I did a factory reset, and updated the firmware. SUCCESS. Around the neighborhood, I was pleased but underwhelmed, bored, non-plussed.

People thinking this will do more than it is intended to. Tracks your footsteps in case you get lost, creates way points, how many miles you have hiked, etc etc. have had all the foretrex.

The wrist strap out of the box is the worst, cheapest, most infernal possible band I’ve ever seen for a watch. Otherwise great product.
