GPS was better than the 401trek!

Bought it for hunting, works great gets you within 20 ft.

For army navigation this is a great product. Accurate. Also shows texts and phone calls.

Awesome, I really like the simple use and the display is very nice, can split screen for things I want to see first.

Looks so darn cool, functions nicely! Tons of cool stuff I gotta learn about it tho :/ lol

This thing will not maintain satellite reception at all. I’ve tried everything. Today was a perfect sunny day and even standing still it’ll say lost satellite reception then take 2-3 minutes to show a grid for about 10 seconds then right back to lost reception. I never had an issue with the 401 decided today to return it but go figure the return window closed yesterday.

It is is all in the planning. I replaced a foretrex 101 with the foretrex 601 taking advantage of the new features, plotting routes and transferring from a pc (or Mac) to the 601. Ideal for hands free navigation while walking. I bought some rechargeable batteries which are easy to change over even when walking! I plot routes on my pc and mobile with anquet software and digital ordnance survey maps. I use the mobile instead of a paper map and checking the mobile by exception - relying on the foretrex 601 to guide me on my pre-planned route.

L’unica stella l’attribuisco alla spedizione, sempre eccezionale di amazon, per il resto il prodotto è secondo me molto scarso con spiegazioni sul manuale scaricato inesistenti per quanto riguarda per esempio il trasferimento delle tracce sul telefono. Poco intiuitivo ed anche lento. Veramente pessimo

I really like this product and it’s ease of use. Self intuitive to easily figuring out the main features.

Works great! Only thing I would do differently would be replacing the watch band.
