Gutes Gerät!

I love the foretrex line of Garmin GPSs it takes some prior planning with a map to plot coordinates and gives you a track log that zooms into I think 30ft so if you loose the trail you can easily get back on the trail by back tracking. The garmin connect to the phone is cool too. I love the fact that despite all its data being displayed that Garmin has the most Sattilites in orbit.

Easy to use. Extremely accurate

Not a lot different than the Foretrex 301 that I have been using. Battery life is a lot longer which is the major plus. Ive used it in the US and Africa without issue. Dont forget to use the Garmin program BaseCamp to help with planning trips and routes. Also you can take your tracks from BaseCamp and overlay it on Google Earth. Being ex-military, I prefer using the MGRS coordinates vs others.

Use it once or twice per month

Got this for my step son who is in the army. He’s been demoted twice since we gifted this to him. If you have intelligence this will be 5 stars. He’s not that smart.

Works as described. Excellent for hiking and flying.

GPS senza cartografia che comunque risulterebbe illeggibile con un display da 2 pollici, valido per seguire tracce precaricate, comodo da consultare continuamente essendo da polso. Andrebbe migliorato il manuale, per imparare ad usarlo sono dovuto andare a tentativi.

Its to expensive for what it is

Extremely useful, however the 401 also works just as well for basic outdoor navigation
