> 3 dayThis item works well—when it works. After weeks of back and forth with tech support it was decided that a replacement item would be sent. That was over a month ago. Ive sent over a dozen emails asking a status on the replacement and they do not respond. Avoid this company!

> 3 dayWonderful, works great so far with downloaded app. However the USB ports are not able to be controlled in the app/remotely, only the 4 plug ins. Works with Alexa app or Google assistant.

03-06-2025Hard to sync up with wifi at first. Worked fine for awhile till water dripped on plug and shorted out powerstrip.

> 3 dayI have this for my decorative lights in my living room and it switches on and off randomly. I have no timers set and don’t touch it. Seems like it’s every couple hours. I wouldn’t buy if you’re using this for lights or anything that need to be on for long periods. I wanted this for my decorative lights and eventually Christmas tree - but having it switch on and off all the time is horrible.

> 3 daySo you can turn the whole strip on and off or ..... you can turn each outlet on and off individually. Im using mine with an aquarium with several lights plugged in. With Google Home I can turn on a light at sunset and then turn on the brighter lights and hour later. In reverse, I can turn off the bright lights at midnight and then the smaller light fifteen minutes later. Much better for the fish. On gloomy days I can just say Hey Google - turn on outlet one and the small light comes on. Such granular control. So many things you can do with a device like this.

> 3 dayThe ability to schedule when it turns on and off in areas of the house when I no longer use them helps control my energy bill.

> 3 dayI like these I set a schedule for light to turn on at any point of the day. They can be on when I get home so Im not walking in the dark

Greater than one weekOut of the box it was great. Plugged it in, pressed the power button to turn it on and then held the pairing button down for a few seconds. The Geeni app works well and allows for some customization and timers for each plug. I was so happy that I went out and bought four more of them. A FEW MONTHS LATER... We replaced our internet router and changed the settings for the wifi. This meant we had to reset all the plugs to match the new router configuration. The Geeni plugs WILL NOT RESET. You press the pairing button and the plugs turn on but it will NOT go into pairing mode. I looked this issue up on the web and found page after page of people having the same issue. I tried several noted fixes, such as leaving it unplugged for a while (several days in fact) but nothing worked. The power strip still works but is no longer very smart. I am unable to pair them with anything. I would not and will not purchase these again. I can now see why they were the least expensive on Amazon.

08-06-2025Amazing, easy instructions. Easy setup. Works great, the ONLY complaint I have is petty and Ill even buy more of these when I need more. Just doesnt have the little holes on the back to hang it on a wall like every other surge protector. If theyre going to make that upgrade, it would be perfect
