SETUP: My experience is from using 4 of these over the past 3 years. Set up is a bit tedious due to the need to be very close to wifi and BlueTooth for iPhone set up. Another issue is in setting up there is no feedback that it is searching for wifi / Bluetooth (would be great if showed a processing set). ONCE SET UP: My experience is it is great! iPhone UI is great! Unfortunately, the chipsets (Bluetooth/ Wifi) stop working after a couple of years (not sure why/). I only have needed 2 but had to replace them over time during the 3 use. If you expect to work reliably like a typical power strip with a smart capability IT IS NOT...

Setup was a breeze, create a Geeni account, add the device to it. I also connected to alexa. I was looking for something to shut off my monitors and computers overnight to save energy as the rates here are skyrocketing. Problem is, I would be sitting at my desk, sometimes on a zoom meeting and the smart plug would decide to power off and then on. Not good as it takes a minute or 2 for everything to come back up again. Double checked there were no schedules run to cause this. Checked for new firmware. This happened at different times too of the day too. After the 4th time it happened while I was presenting remotely, I returned it.

Only used for 2 weeks (of course missed the return window by a day) and it started short circuiting, electric zapping sounds and flickering the 3 lights that were plugged in. All the lights work perfectly normal with any other surge protector and outlet. I will not be using this product from geeni but I do recommend their lightbulbs and normal outlets as I haven’t had an issue with those.

I have multiple reptiles and other animals that require an extensive lighting schedule. This plug strip has given me so much freedom and has given my animals consistency.

This only just recently started messing up on me. its still supplies power but the smart functions seem to have completely gone away. I cant reset it or get it on my network or anything. I contacted geeni and they sent me a replacement though so that was nice. Other than that, I really like these power strips. You can control each individual outlet on them or the whole thing. Works really well through Alexa.

It‘s suppose to be new but it looks used with a little wear. We’ll see if it works or if I have to send it back.

Works great, the only issue I have is the schedule doesn’t always turn the switches on or off. It’s likely user error but since I can’t figure it out it’s a minor issue. But all and all the produce is great and I love how you can control each plug individually.

OK, its a nice multi-outlet device. My gripes are Google does not have a web-based version of home, so you absolutely need to use a smartphone or tablet to control the power strip. For most people, not a problem at all, but I sure would love to use a simple web interface, so I can VPN in and control via my LAN, or control from my Linux or Windows desktop PC in the office. You can also use the Geeni app, but again, no html version, app (ios or Android only) Im sure alexa and siri behave similarly, shame. Only other thing would be independent local power switches. The unit has only a master switch. Ill be looking to replace this eventually. For now, its ok.

update If you have no Internet you have no connection , and secludes will not work if you internet is out , Even if you turn the stuff on manually with no internet connection it will shut itself off , after losing almost all the Livestock in my tank I moved everything off of it but the lights , with the storm the other day and having no inter net none of the timers for the lights worked and like I stated with turning them on manually it still after like 5 or 10 min would shut them back off . Have to replace now and was a waste of 30 bucks. and Tech support is useless i after my first issue with it all they did was read off what was in the little setup paper. WiFi signal is very weak so cant be too far from a router but the worst thing with this and all the ones i have gotten I did not know this till after I got them If you are to have a power outage say from a storm or someone takes out a power pole this dose not go back to the last state that it was at when the power come back on it defaults to off no matter what not a bad thing if you have things off when this happens but if you have things on and the power goes out what was on will not come back on till then next timer on cycle for it

Bought two units for about 2 and a half months, one unit keeps turning off and on for about one every hour.
