Amazing, easy instructions. Easy setup. Works great, the ONLY complaint I have is petty and Ill even buy more of these when I need more. Just doesnt have the little holes on the back to hang it on a wall like every other surge protector. If theyre going to make that upgrade, it would be perfect

It doesn’t keep time it was to go on at 5:15 and went on a 4:00

    Greater than one week

I hooked this thing up in my studio so that I could use my phone to toggle the power of some of my audio equipment that doesnt have an on/off button, and save some electricity when the studio isnt in use. Ive only had it hooked up for a couple of days, but it has already done this more than once! Basically, for no reason at all, the power strip will randomly switch off and almost immediately turn back on again. This causes a big voltage spike/power surge which is potentially very damaging to professional audio equipment. If this happens even one more time, Ill most definitely be returning this device for a refund and investigating alternative power management options. A surge strip should never power cycle like this for no reason whatsoever, especially not a smart one! Aside from what is connected to the Geeni surge strip, none of my other equipment had any power interruption when the Geeni strip power cycled, so I know the issue was isolated to this device and not some other systemic problem with the power here.

This power strip has a major design flaw. If you unplug it or lose power, the Wifi will stop working and make the strip useless. There isn’t even a way to make the outlets turn on manually. Customer service is also slow to respond to warranty replacements. The 1st unit was eventually replaced free of charge, but that one broke the same way the first one did. It has been a week and customer service still hasn’t responded to my inquiry about a refund (no need for another replacement, this is useless if it keeps breaking after power loss). Glad I was home when both instances happened, otherwise my fish would be dead… I ordered another strip and tested it for the same flaw: works perfectly. Don’t waste your time with Geeni. Spend a few more bucks and get a reputable brand.

Used for my Christmas village instead of having to switch all the houses on, I can now ask Alexa to turn on The village and they all on. It’s also linked to my phone on app so super easy to control especially for those hard to reach outlets behind cabinets. Love this purchase

i bought this almost a year ago, been using it since then, it works great it does what its supposed to do, the set up was easy and the app is easy to use, unfortunately the power led indicators for each outlet has started to die off, currently only 4 our of 5 outlet led indicators are working, its not a big deal since it still works but a bit annoying.

I would randomly hear crackling sounds from this power strip that sounded like a wire short, the light would flicker, so I stopped using it. The app was easy to set up, just not safe to leave plugged in.

Pros: - Very Convenient: For $19 (3 outlets), no more bending and reaching for awkward corners to turn on your cute lamps and LED light strip every night! Good for my back so yes! - Good customer service! Kudos to Ariya and Joel (I hope I got the names right I am sorry) who assisted me doing no less than 8 resets while being professional and friendly too, love it. Also love the call back option so I dont have to get brainwashed by waiting line music. - Once its hooked it changed my life! I had a lot home decor lamps and LED wall signs and having them turned on/off automatically every night was a godsend. Also imagine what you can do to use this function to create the ultimate Halloween experience, cant wait to replace other outlet in my home to scare the crap out of people :DDD - Shareable! But I made a mistake and let my brother join the household and he was just mess with the light to mess with me. Be careful with who you share the control with I guess. (I removed him, which is also a pro for the app Cons - I like to considered myself tech-savvy but this honestly took me a while (because my router was not cooperating :/ ) but can be resolved by calling them. Be penitent my friend <:) - No individual buttons on the device to turn on/off manually, has to go through the app so I can see it being frustrating if one of them not reacting to the apps command. - The indicator lights are pretty bright so hide them if you hate that hue in a dark room Other - Like all electronic devices nowadays we dont know how long it will last! But I will just enjoy the ride while its still running. - I am only using light control and lightbulbs from this company but like all smart household appliances, read the fine print to see the privacy policy if you are wary about the location and recording data being collected.

This was my favorite purchase from the holiday season. It saved me from crawling behind our Christmas tree to plug in everything. Between our tree lights, train, plug-in village houses, and background lights- it was so nice and convenient to do it all from my phone. I was able to do it from upstairs, too, so my kids could wake up and go downstairs to an already lit tree during our dark winter mornings.
