SETUP: My experience is from using 4 of these over the past 3 years. Set up is a bit tedious due to the need to be very close to wifi and BlueTooth for iPhone set up. Another issue is in setting up there is no feedback that it is searching for wifi / Bluetooth (would be great if showed a processing set). ONCE SET UP: My experience is it is great! iPhone UI is great! Unfortunately, the chipsets (Bluetooth/ Wifi) stop working after a couple of years (not sure why/). Amazing, easy instructions. Easy setup. Works great, the ONLY complaint I have is petty and Ill even buy more of these when I need more. Just doesnt have the little holes on the back to hang it on a wall like every other surge protector. If theyre going to make that upgrade, it would be perfect

This power strip has a major design flaw. If you unplug it or lose power, the Wifi will stop working and make the strip useless. There isn’t even a way to make the outlets turn on manually. Customer service is also slow to respond to warranty replacements. The 1st unit was eventually replaced free of charge, but that one broke the same way the first one did. It has been a week and customer service still hasn’t responded to my inquiry about a refund (no need for another replacement, this is useless if it keeps breaking after power loss). Glad I was home when both instances happened, otherwise my fish would be dead… I ordered another strip and tested it for the same flaw: works perfectly. Don’t waste your time with Geeni. Spend a few more bucks and get a reputable brand.

It was very easy to connect to my wifi. I use it with my Google home, I use it for lamps in my bedroom. U can program each slot separately. So I just turn my lights on using my Google home. Very handy

It doesn’t keep time it was to go on at 5:15 and went on a 4:00

Good smart 6 port switch, not great. The Positives: you can control each port individually or together with the app, or Alexa, each port can be named as well as the device, Alexa will read those settings from the app. responds very quickly and the wifi setup is really easy, The NOT so good: even tho you can schedule(on/Off) each individual port, the schedule is VERY unreliable sometime does not follow the schedule on or off settings, which makes the schedule pretty much unusable. after power outage it comes back all off, doesnt remember the previous settings. this is a great device as long you are not going to use the schedule feature. and you dont care about being off after a power outage.

Only used for 2 weeks (of course missed the return window by a day) and it started short circuiting, electric zapping sounds and flickering the 3 lights that were plugged in. All the lights work perfectly normal with any other surge protector and outlet. I will not be using this product from geeni but I do recommend their lightbulbs and normal outlets as I haven’t had an issue with those.

I have automated several homes with many brands, and this smart strip is priced nicely and easily installed and configured. This is the first of many that I will be buying for myself and others.

Out of the box it was great. Plugged it in, pressed the power button to turn it on and then held the pairing button down for a few seconds. The Geeni app works well and allows for some customization and timers for each plug. I was so happy that I went out and bought four more of them. A FEW MONTHS LATER... We replaced our internet router and changed the settings for the wifi. This meant we had to reset all the plugs to match the new router configuration. The Geeni plugs WILL NOT RESET. You press the pairing button and the plugs turn on but it will NOT go into pairing mode. I looked this issue up on the web and found page after page of people having the same issue. I tried several noted fixes, such as leaving it unplugged for a while (several days in fact) but nothing worked. The power strip still works but is no longer very smart. I am unable to pair them with anything. I would not and will not purchase these again. I can now see why they were the least expensive on Amazon.

Se que es buen producto pero me indigna mucho que en la foto de Amazon aparece 2 puertos USB que se controlan en la aplicion por wifi y en lo que me enviaron los puertos USB no se controlan por wifi. Me siento engañado.
