After the installation of our new Genie garage door opener, we had installed a Smart LED lightbulb, interestingly it had some interference. Once we changed out the smart bulb with the Genie LED bulb for the garage opener, it opens beautifully with one touch of the remote.

These bulbs say they do not imminent signals that block the garage door opener from working. I switches hoping it would work but my garage is still very hard to open with the remote. The bulbs are super white too.

For the last 10 years I’ve struggled and been frustrated with finding a garage door bulb that actually works. Countless times the filament breaks and even after replacing with “garage door” specific bulbs the filament always breaks or the bulb loosens and the bulb will not work. Not anymore!!! These LED bulbs work 150% better than any bulb I have tried. They work every single time the sensor is tripped and when the garage door opens. They have not rattled loose and are extremely bright. They also DO NOT interfere with the garage remote as other LED bulbs have done in the past. Save yourself frustration buy these bulbs.

I originally replaced my halogen light bulbs with a well known brand of LED bulbs, but every time I drove out of my garage and tried to shut it using the remote, nothing happened until I was inches away from the door opening. The Genie LEDs correct this issue, bright white light with reduced energy use and IT WORKS with my garage door opener. If you are having issues with your garage door closing after switching to LEDs, these will fix your issue.

Genie GLEDB2-R2 light bulbs were a good addition to my genie garage door opener. They are bright and hopefully long lasting.

The bulb seems to be 60W equivalent. Because theyre LED, it would be good if they were brighter.
