Genie GLEDB2-R2 2 Pack Garage Door Opener LED LIGHT BULB, 4000K,White

I originally replaced my halogen light bulbs with a well known brand of LED bulbs, but every time I drove out of my garage and tried to shut it using the remote, nothing happened until I was inches away from the door opening. The Genie LEDs correct this issue, bright white light with reduced energy use and IT WORKS with my garage door opener. If you are having issues with your garage door closing after switching to LEDs, these will fix your issue.

One bulb is dimmer than other. Even took out and switched around and still the same.

Our garage door opener had been intermittent to operate for a few years. I had replaced the original bulbs with LED Amazon basic bulbs. It became such a problem I did research online and found you must use shielded bulbs if you use LEDs. I removed the LED bulbs and with no bulbs the unit worked as good as new. I ordered these bulbs from Genie (Amazon) and everything if good. Door range and operation has returned to normal. Great product.

A waste if money for me. Not very bright and made no difference in range than my 100 watt led bulbs.

Still some interference will door opener but not as bad as regular LED

This is a soft light. If you are looking to have bright light this wouldn’t be what you are looking for. To be fair it’s diffused by the opener plastic so that mutes the brightness. Plenty bright to see getting out of the car at night and doesn’t interfere with the opener. I will buy again without question.

So far so good. Like the lite will have to see how long they last and if they affect anything. As of now all is well.

The bulbs seem to work fine, no interference. The brightness of the bulbs are good. Better than the fluorescent bulbs that I had in there

No problem with this. My old led bulb would sometimes stay on until I turned it off manually. This one shut off likes its supposed to after 30 seconds every time. Same light output. Good buy.
