> 3 dayThese appear to be a very good garage door lights. Bright, tough and hopefully long life too. My only concern was with the shipping. Nothing to do with the lights or their packaging...but they were shipped to us in a medium sized box with no bubble wrap, no foam, no paper....just packed loosely to move around freely in this box. I mean, its glass, and quite thin! I was kinda surprised. But they all work thankfully.

> 3 dayHighly recommend! Solved all my opener issues. Not knowing that many standard CFL and LED bulbs cause interference with opener signals, I spent a year thinking my opener was on its last leg because the door wouldnt respond half the time... Even six feet away with the remote. The opener also burned up several CFL and LED bulbs (more likely it just shook them to death!) I have had these Genie units in my two-bulb opener for a few months and have not had a single hiccup. It was 25 degrees in the garage this morning and the light was instantly white and bright like an LED should be. For longer performance (and I recommend this for any bulb or opener) get a little electrical contact grease. A thin film on the bulb contact points helps protect against moisture and vibration issues.

> 3 dayI was hoping the range would not be impacted on my Chamberlain smart Myq opener with these pricy lights. With halogen bulbs my door operates over 300 ft line of sight. With these Genie lamps its iffy within 30-50 ft, maybe a little worse compared to cheap LEDs I tried. Could be one or both of the pair are defective, but not worth playing around with them to find out.

> 3 dayGot this because I was having issues with my garage door opener after replacing old light bulb. Turns out CFL and LED lights interfere with garage door opener transmitters. This bulb helped but can only use one. As soon as I screw in the second one, my garage door opener transmitters are pretty useless. Even with only one, I can no longer use my garage door opener transmitters from farther away and theyre not 100% reliable--press down and hope it works. So this product really doesnt solve the problem effectively. The only real solution is probably getting a new garage door opener with the LED light built in by the manufacturer like the newer models. But thats an expensive solution.

> 3 dayWe burned out an operator by using the wrong bulbs and are this time following the Genie recommendation. Hope this keeps it going for a long time.

> 3 dayWe were having issues with other led bulbs creating signal interference with our garage door openers as well as key pad. Changed to Genie bulbs and now everything works great!

Greater than one weekIve been using LED light bulbs in my garage openers for a couple of years. When we bought new Liftmaster openers, the range of the remotes wasnt great. I thought that maybe our regular LED bulbs were blocking the RF signals from the remotes, so purchased these bulbs. Genie states these bulbs work in all brands of openers (as far as I know, they do). When installed, the bulbs are DIM, even though the 4000K color temperature is excellent. Theyre supposed to put out 800 lumens and equal a 60-watt incandescent in brightness. My other 60-watt LED bulbs are much brighter than these. As the remotes effective distance didnt improve, I removed the bulbs, installed 100-watt LED bulbs, and spliced more wire on the openers antennas. The remotes now work better and my garage is brighter. I believe the Genie bulbs are good quality, but the dollar per lumen output is sub-par.

> 3 dayI can now open my garage doors at a distance again. Unlike when I had previous types of LED bulbs in the garage door openers.
