Genie GLEDB2-R2 2 Pack Garage Door Opener LED LIGHT BULB, 4000K,White

I bought just one at first, to test it with a portable radio. I love the long life of LED lights, but all the others I ever tried in the past made enough noise I had to get out of the car and put the remote close to the door for it to work. A pocket sized AM/SW radio confirmed : lots of noise no matter where you tuned. Fast forward to 2022 ... I had almost given up hope that some company would discover the market need for an RF quiet bulb. This hits the bullseye! Thank you Genie !

What happened to 5-10 year LED light bulbs? 3yr guarantee? WTH?

Reportedly they dont interfere with remote controls with the garage door. Good light output.

We installed a new Genie garage door opener and purchased the Genie LED bulbs for it. As soon as the bulbs were installed, the garage door opener remote stopped working. We then replaced the LED bulbs with incandescent bulbs and the remote worked again. Since the box of the Genie LED bulbs was opened, we couldnt get a refund for the useless LED bulbs.

A regular lightbulb is brighter than this, it barely put off any light at all and my garage is still completely dark!

Who knew that standard bulbs would cause a problem with garage door openers, changed out this bulb and i can now open my garage from the road 200 away. Used to have to drive all the way up to it and wait! A little expensive for a bulb but convenience is worth it!!!

Nice bright lights not Yellow and my garage door is more responsive probably because of interference of the old led lights

When someone tells you you can use regular LED bulbs, that was not my experience. I could not get the remotes to work until I installed the Genie bulbs. I think they are a little high in price, but after all the hassle I went through very much worth it.
