Genuine GORILLA-LIFT 2-Sided Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist

Really like the Gorilla lift and give it five stars. The reason I give four Star is the bolts that come with it are not going to let your bolts set flat unless you make your hole square or drill a really big hole. I believe the hardware bolts could be a better design.

Really loved this product. Saved my business! Im a small landscaping business owner working alone since the pandemic. Hurt my shoulder & painfully struggled with lowering & picking back up the 70 lb. rear gate of my landscaping trailer. Gorilla Lift is amazing! Strong spring technology took away the strain on my shoulders and back. I can now lower the trailer gate with only a few fingers! Product so heavy-duty ordering a lift for both sides of trailer was over kill. Hanging onto extra side lift because its too expensive to ship back due to its size/weight. Very easy to assemble. Very satisfied.

Working great, easy to use and wasnt too complicated to install. I think it will be a winner. Thanks

Awesome Product...Have been using it for for months everyday....Only issue I had was the Quality of the Carriage Bolts....The Strip Very Easily...Do Not over torque/tighten...Or Replace them with better quality like I did.

I installed this on my trailer and I can lift the gate with one finger now! Its fairly easy to install, there are a lot of YouTube videos to show you.

I needed something to allow me to continue using my utility trailer that has a heavy ramp/tailgate. The Gorilla Lift did the trick but it was pretty difficult to install on my round pipe rails. This was all made more difficult by the fact that I’m 75 and have a partially paralyzed hand. Once completed it works very well and I recommend it for us senior citizens. I had to purchase longer bolts to go through the pipe rail but that was the only problem.

I mounted the spring housings on a trailer with round tubing rails. It was probably a little more difficult than on a trailer with flat top angle rails. It worked out just fine, looks good and works as advertised. I’m very happy with the results!

Wish I would’ve added these sooner. Easy to install and so powerful I had to remove the inner spring. Would definitely recommend this product
