Greater than one weekI really like the gorilla lift, it makes raising and lowering the tailgate a 1 finger operation. I had to modify it because it is a Brimar trailer with uprights where the puppy end should be. I took 5/4 x6 pressure decking and attached it to the top rail then attached the gorilla lift on the outside edge of the decking. Not a piece of art but very functional.

> 3 dayI bought this over two years ago but had to do welding repairs on the drop ramp before I could install. Finally found time to fix that. Installation was very easy - drill 10 holes 1/2” diameter each and hook up. Took about an 45 minutes. Great directions. I was basically shocked at how well it works. My ramp was heavy and hard to lift - how it’s almost like it’s motor driven but will rest in any position. A super value and excellent product.

> 3 dayEasy to install-I pulled up a U Tube video that showed how to go about it-just like the written instructions ! I ended up using only on of the 2 lifts in the kit-----I have a 5 x 10 trailer---and a single works perfectly! I mounted it on the passenger side because I have my spare tire mounted on the driver side and would have had to reposition it to accommodate the 2nd lift. I gave a friend of mine the passenger side lift-he tossed me back half of what I paid ! I used it extensively from Wednesday thru Saturday and it never failed-Would though like for it to have a plastic cap over the front end of the lift to keep dirt and debris out-this being open could become an issue down the road-I haul my ATV on this trailer and am on a lot of dirt and mud roads.....

> 3 dayThis item its extremely strong. The only bad thing about this is the pulling wires are so tiny. Not sure it they will last that much.

> 3 dayI got this for my dad for Father’s Day because he runs a lawn care business. He’s getting older and was having issues with the gait throwing his back out constantly. This thing seriously changed his life. He can not rave higher about it. I’d recommend to anyone who asked!

Greater than one weekI recently bought a new trailer and boy is it heavy duty, the wife and I struggled just to raise the ramp and decided we needed some help. I watched many U Tube vids and decided on the Gorilla-Lift system, so glad I did. I ran into two small challenges during my install. 1. I had a 2x2 square tubing upright support to the top rail where the farthest back hole needed to be drilled. I was able to remove the plastic end cap, just drilled through the top tubing, cut the carriage bolt to about 1 and was able to fasten down that way. 2. The front hole was aligned with the fender, but I just drilled through the top tubing, through the fender and the supplied bolt was just barley long enough to reach all the way through to snug up the nut. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy and the results were amazing....simple one hand operation now. I did use all four springs on my trailer and it was just the right amount of tension. Any heavier of a ramp and I believe it would struggle. I highly recommend this product.
