> 24 hourI am using this to waterproof a door threshold that has asphalt shingles lapped under it. The asphalt shingles cracked under foot traffic. So I am using this to lay over the asphalt and tuck under the metal door threshold to fix a water leak problem. (its a storage space in a two story car garage, and this area gets rain water when it blows against the door.). what I had to do, to make this work is remove the top layer of sand embedded in the asphalt shingles so this tape will lay flat with no voids and all the edges will hold down. This was much cheaper to fix a problem that trying to replace the asphalt shinges (the previous owner glued them down). I used a 6 inch metal scraper to remove the surface sand in the asphalt under the shingles were flat. Then I applied this gorilla patch tape. For extra grab, I used a heat gun while rolling a 6 metal pipe (like a bread roller), starting from center and working out toward the edges. This really helped the adhesives lock into the asphalt. I expect this repair to fix a water leak that was going to eventually cause lots of problems with the framing under the door threshold. Not bad for less than 20 bucks. good stuff

> 24 hourThis product has major adhesive properties! I caught my $300 down sleeping bag on fire (long story). Lol. Anyway, I had a 8×5 inch burn hole. I was able to easily repair this hole.

> 24 hourI tried another type of tape to seal my daughters cars sunroof that was leaking and that one came right off, this tape stuck on and seems very hard to pull off which is good. Its also 4 inches wide so it covers a lot of space if you need it to. I agree with the other reviews that maybe theres not a lot of tape on the roll but it was enough for what I needed to do. I shot the water hose over it about an hour after and dont see any leaks. Thats my story, best of luck everyone.

> 24 hourI had a 1.5 - 3 hole in the main stage where the fast rubber blade grabs the snow and throws it out the chute. The hole let snow be thrown into the engine. IT LASTED THROUGH A HEAVY SPRING WET SNOW: NO EDGE LIFT! I used 300 grit sandpaper on the plastic, washed/rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol. Heated the plastic (not hot) with a heat gun Applied a piece of the tape, heated, pressed, heated, pressed about 3 times. Never getting it too hot. After a day of curing (24 hours) I brought the blower to the cold garage

> 24 hourIts not easy to use, but I learned after struggling with it the first time that wearing plastic gloves and using the tip of a scissors to scrape the backing so it could be easily removed made working with it easier. The glue on the back is strong and instantly adhesive so if the cut strip accidentally touches something it shouldnt removing it can be difficult but using shorter strips reduces the likelihood of that happening. I used it on two projects. The first was to repair a large hole in the backwash pipe from my pool filter. So far after several weeks there are still no signs of leakage whereas previously a small fountain of water had been spurting ito the air. The other repair was to a solar pool cover whose seams had come apart. The cover was on the pool, the seams were wet, but the tape held the failed sections together. Only relatively small pieces of tape (about a foot long) at each end of the cover were needed .

> 24 hourWe had bad hail the other day and it busted our pool. It looked like it was a small hole that just kept ripping. I think the rip was around 10 inches. Used the little flex tape I had but it did not like the water dripping on the outside. So I got this one and man is it stick and works well. We got the small leaked covered that the flex tape had and then was able to use it inside the pool to reinforce the outside tape. My husband had no problem using it in the water. Of course I probably went overboard covering it in the outside. It is still holding up and will update it if lasts the summer.
