GU Energy Original Sports Nutrition Energy Gel, 24-Count, Salted Caramel

I always keep a couple of GU Energy Gels in my purse and in my hiking backpack. When my blood sugar plummets during a long day of shopping or out on the trail, I drink one of these. I like the Vanilla Bean flavor as it is light and not too sweet. Within a couple of minutes, I feel ready to go again. I dont leave home without a few on hand.

I am an avid bicycle rider and Vanilla Bean flavored GU is the best. During a 40+ mile training ride I will consume up to two of them. Great taste, easy on the stomach and added energy.

These taste good, easy to eat while on the go and work as they should.

I buy this product regularly because it provides the energy for those days that Im working out for more than one hour. Provides the energy without the added sugars of others products.

Taste great and supplies the fuel

As a triathlete maintaining nutrition during an Ironman event is critical. Using these products ensures that I am keeping up with what is needed to keep my calories and nutrition equalized during this type of endurance race.

This is a good goo with nice flavor and a little caffeine. Can give you a small boost of energy during the day. But all these energy goos are a overpriced.

The flavor is so good. I use it on my long bike rides and it really does its job. Gives me a steady boost without a hard sugar type crash.

Love these things but I could see myself starting to make my own after awhile. Work great but it would be nice to find a cheaper option. Taste great!

There are Gu Gel people and then there are the rest of us. I started off in the former camp - used the Gu Gel on a couple long runs and loved the energy burst. So I took the plunge and bought a 24-pack from Amazon, in Vanilla Bean (my favorite flavor). But as my long runs increased above 15 miles, I found the Gu Gel upset my stomach and instead I needed real food to fuel my body. Just depends on your mileage and personal preference. If you like the Gu Gels, Vanilla Bean is great and the price at Amazon (for a 24-pack) is the best Ive seen.
