> 3 dayGives you the illusion you can change the temperature. Take a thermal meter to it. It does not very temp, and barely will melt bigger solder joints, even with bigger tips. Maybe I got a defective unit. But dont waste your money.

> 3 dayThis unit is complicated to adjust the temp on...it also came with no manual.

> 3 dayThis is an outstanding soldering station. Nothing in this price range can touch it for value and performance. I use it primarily for model railroading but it is equally well suited to electronics soldering. The variety of tips provides an unusual range of flexibility. The ability to dial in your desired tip temperature is a huge time and cost saver. No more botched soldering jobs and damaged items from a too low or too high temperature. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a soldering station or desiring to upgrade from a standard soldering iron.

> 3 dayIts been about 9 months since I started to use this soldering kit and its great one. This made all soldering works fun and easy. Like all other soldering, you should do tin-coating and clean the tip you used every time you do soldering even though this kit says tin-coated. Thats how you can keep this soldering iron best. There are bunch of videos or articles about tin coating out there.

> 3 dayI bought this soldering station and extra tips for working on rc planes and quad copters. It is the best soldering iron I have ever used. You know the exact temperature your working with, which is important when soldering on circuit boards with solder pads. The iron heats up very quickly and stays hot while you are working. The digital control is very fast and accurate. The tips are easy to swap out. Changing a tip takes just a few seconds. I really like this soldering station and would recommend it to anyone shopping or one.

Greater than one weekThis is hands down the very best Soldering Iron set up I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few. I highly recommend it. It comes with a number of extra iron tips all the way from tiny to very large. They send duplicate replacement tips in the box when they ship it. It gets hot immediately , it cools to another temperature quickly. It heats up when you turn it on right away, there is nearly no wait time. The temp control works great. It is super easy to use, super easy to change temps. It fits nicely in the hand. It is made of very sturdy materials. Changing tips is super easy and simple. Let me say this, sometimes I need an Iron to get really really hot (working on tube equipment) then I need it cool and even temperature..It does this without any problem whatsoever. Take it from me spend the extra few $ and win with this station. Yes, I own it. No I am not affiliated in any way.
