Since my previous review was rejected by a robot that doesnt understand slang superlatives let me try this again: I owned one if those orange Weller units for years, this *edit* is far superior *end edit*. The only knock on it is the toy-like color scheme, which I addressed with a custom cut vinyl sticker. Some Kester 63/37 solder and this unit and you cover a lot of soldering...

I have to say this soldering station is outstanding, you have total control of the temperature , which is very important when you need to have when soldering very sensitive electronics . I give this product AAAAA++++

Right tool right job!!!!!!!

Great soldering iron. It heats very fast and works great. I was using a borrowed iron that was high end, but older and discontinued so I could not buy new tips for it. I decided to buy this one and have been very happy with it. Ive used it a ton over the past 3 weeks making soldered Christmas ornaments and it has worked flawlessly.

One of the best soldering stations you can buy for the money. I love that this setup comes with a lot of different tip styles and sizes. I use this daily with making custom automotive lighting and it works 100 times better than my old weller setup.

At last I own a nice soldering iron. Quality on this station is top notch.

I use this soldering station frequently for a variety of electronic projects. I am thinking about also purchasing the tweezer attachment to aid in SMT reworks. I highly recommend this product.

I have been using soldering irons professionally for the past twenty years, and personally for the past thirty. It did not occur to me that a soldering iron could have an unnecessarily complicated user interface and unnecessary features. I regret purchasing this item and will suggest my colleagues look elsewhere for a soldering iron.

Used numerous types of irons over the years as a hobbyist but never had the opportunity to use a professional grade iron. I really wish I would have spent the money sooner. Makes a night and day difference to anything you can buy at a hobby center or radio shack (before they died). This is an amazing setup and highly recommend. I currently use this solder

This is the best soldering station I have ever used. Heats up very fast and maintains the set temp. It is small in size but very powerful. The iron stand is stable and very easy to use. The digital read out is easy to set and very easy to see. I would recommend this product. The product shipped very quickly by the United States post office and delivered right to my door. What a great system.
