Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

These bar stools were exactly what we were looking for. They look great and are very sturdy. Easy assembly with on 4 bolts to attach the seat to the frame. Seats are comfortable as well.

I am very pleased with the stools. I ordered three and they look great in my newly renovated kitchen. They were easy to put together. My only concern was the packaging. The cardboard used was very light and there were holes by the time they reached me.

I choose these bar stools based on the construction of the chairs. We needed to have bars tools that were solid rather than flimsy because we entertain ever so often. Secondly we have an open plan house and the chairs are in the heavily trafficked area. I love the color of the metal and the covers on the seat area. I will strongly recommend these barstools based on it construction, style and its sturdiness. I also love the fact that they swivel easily but not loosely.

One of the bar stools appeared to be used. It had a black tar on the foot rest in the perfect places for shoes. I tried using Goo Gone and it wouldnt come off. The rubber tips on the bottom of the stool were also warn. I had 11 bar stools to start with and sold 8 in my spec homes so I ordered these bar stools to replace ones that I had sold so as I was not happy to get a used bar stool I still had 3 that I have had for awhile so I am OK with it. The other 7 bar stools were fine. Matched the ones I already had perfectly.

I bought a slightly damaged stool for half price and I could not find what’s wrong with , looks great next to my other stools.

The 32 inch stools are very high...Im 52 and I cant easily get on them. Its terrible! Large Heavy stools

I had purchased three of these stools several years ago. In a recent move, we have a larger bar area and needed two more stools. Could not remember where the original three had been purchased so I went on line and found them here. Great price, quick delivery and everything was as I had hoped.

The bar stools was very easy to put together, very sturdy and comfortable. The are very nice and look very nice in my home. What I dont like is they are too tall. Theyre 32 inch and I need a 26 or 28 inch.

Four out of five because it was NOT as advertised and in the picture given, it was impossible to tell. The shipping, packaging and assembly were all fine as was the price. We got this stool to match our singleton which was the same size (28) and make as this advertised one. My research found plenty of examples at TWICE the price before looking at Amazon. In fact, the one we had already was bought from a consignment store for less than $100! My gripe was that nowhere on the description of this stool did it say leather back. The original stool has a distressed wooden back, not leather! Also the color if the faux leather seat is a little off and doesnt match the other stool. Ill try and provide side-by-side photos which will reveal these points. However, it is sturdy and will work for us. One final comment: the plastic wrapping around the seat was difficult to remove as others have noted. Other than that, a happy Amazon customer.
