> 3 dayThis year old reliable gave up the ghost and I needed a new fan since I cannot sleep without the constant noise. First I bought a lasko, the blade literally came apart during the night after a week. Replacement lasted almost a month and a half then the motor died. Initially I didn’t want a remote and all the features but it was hard to find a good cheap fan so I bought this. Within a week I love the remote and the fan. Has a metal guard and feels really well put together. My favorite thing now is with the remote I can cycle the oscillating button to turn the fan towards me if I’m warm or away if I’m cold and also change the speeds. It has a timer which is nice but I don’t use it and the breeze setting is nice but I like the constant speeds better. It is more than a lot of other fans but so far the quality is there and I learned the hard way I should have went with this in the first place. Definitely recommend this fan

> 3 dayJust received this fan. Can’t talk about how long it lasts, we’ll see. Maybe I’m as dumb as a sack of rocks, but setting this fan up stumped me at first, even with the instructions. I bought this knowing the blue lights stay on, but wow, they’re BRIGHT. If you’re a light sensitive sleeper, maybe skip this fan. The lights will light up the entire room. I have to have complete and total darkness to sleep so I had to color some paper with sharpie and tape them to the front of the fan to cover up the lights. Looks ridiculous but the fan is in the bedroom so it doesn’t matter too much. This fan also produces a dull roar which can be nice if you like a bit of background noise when you sleep. Overall, I wouldn’t return this fan, but I also will not be buying another of this same kind when this one bites the dust.

> 3 dayThis Honeywell fan is well worth the price. The base is a heavy metal plate - it has a slight lean, but nothing like any of the other fans Ive owned where they look like theyre going to topple over. The motor housing unit is pretty heavy for a fan. When I turn it off after having it on for 8-12 plus hours, its cool to the touch. It has the 2 blade technology that allows more air to flow towards you. I love that feature! Its fairly quiet. The fan to the left sitting on the floor is a powerhouse commercial-like fan youd find in a warehouse, it blows a TREMENDOUS amount of air. But its also incredibly NOISY. I use that one to help keep me asleep (have sleep issues? go buy one from Walmart). I read a couple reviews where people said that cages that cover the blades is a little tricky. The little metal pieces that should slide down easily to hold the 2 cage pieces together - it is a bear to get them to close. I only had problems with 2 of them. But they arent really that big of a deal, mine dont hang open. Havent gotten batteries for the remote so cant give that a rating.

Greater than one weekHave this fan for about a month now with running it all day long. Had a martini before assembling it so it is not the most complicated mechanism youll ever encounter, no additional tools or screws needed. You do need the batteries for the remote control which works really well and actually has the on/off button so you dont have to go through all the speeds to turn it off like you would if you were to get up and do it on the fans buttons. When deciding on a fan, I was definitely on the budget but was looking for a quality fan even if it meant paying a bit more. Looked a lot at the tower fans as well but then decided to go with this kind because it was important for me to be able to clean it of accumulated dust frequently. Just recently did my first clean and it was wicked easy, the top parts disassemble as easy as they assemble, wiped the blades and rinsed the cage parts with a douche in the shower, wiped dry and voila all done, took like 15 minutes and the fan is looking nice and clean and like new. Rotation also works great and overall the fan is super quiet, I am in zoom meetings all day and it never interferes. At night, the blue light takes a bit of getting used to but actually is kind of calming. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayQuiet, reliable and well-built. The base is surprisingly heavy, which is a nice touch (no chance of tipping over). I bought this to replace an older Honeywell of pretty similar make and feature set that Id been using pretty much every night since 06. That motor finally called it a day, so not a bad run. This model is noticeably quieter on the lowest setting, if that matters to you. It also has two blue led lights on the front display, although I havent noticed these illuminating the room that appreciably (about as much as a small clock radio would, Id say). Fully extended, it stands 47 inches. It has a remote, but can be operated at the base as well. Has tilt and oscillate, though I use neither. Has sleep timers of 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. It has three speed settings, and three flow modes (variable, breeze, and constant). On low, which is what I tend to use, it moves a considerable amount of air for its size. The grill is a lightweight, coated (painted) metal, as is the pole (polished aluminum), fan shaft and motor. Everything else is plastic. The plug has a built in safety fuse. I would be surprised if this one didnt last at least as long as my previous Honeywell fan did. Hope this review was useful.

26-11-2024Very few products are beyond my expectations but this fan is. I had it assembled in less than an hour--not bad for this 83 yr. old granny. Its very quiet. The best thing about this fan is it feels like a breeze not a wind. I was also surprised it reached the far side of the room, about 18 away. Id give it 10 stars if it were possible.

Greater than one weekI really like my new fan. Im not good at assembling things, but by carefully following the instructions I was able to get it together. The one little problem came when I couldnt find the remote. I had kept all the packaging, so I wasnt too worried about finding it. The problem was the small folded cardboard package that was clearly marked as containing the smaller fan blade. I had cut the tape and slipped the blade out without realizing that the remote was in there, too. The remote comes without batteries and weighs next to nothing. Fortunately, I hadnt thrown it away. The fan is quiet and moves air adequately. Id prefer not to have the blue LED display on all the time, but since the fan is in my living room its not a big issue. There is a soft beep when you change settings. Theres one other thing that I dont hate, but I do think is odd. The fan is white. White base, white blades, even a white remote, but the plastic screw on piece that holds the blades in place is red. All in all Im happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayMy Duracraft fan was a gift for my wife and I when we we got married. over 20 years later it finally started to die. We live in a ridiculously hot state (AZ) and ran it every night for a decade, then the next decade I ran it in the window of our dining room into my office to save money on A/C costs. I didnt think anything could replace this fan... so I started looking for another Duracraft pedestal fan... but they no longer exist. Honeywell apparently bought duracraft and now make a similar pedestal fan but even better. I hope this fan stands the test of time as well! It is fairly quiet even thought I run it on high most of the day. The remote is amazing! No more reaching into the window and turning off the fan by hand.

Greater than one weekIve been using this fan for over a year now, and have no complaints. It does get very dirty in my apartment (with four large windows open all the time), so Im glad its so easy to disassemble to clean. Just keep in mind that the red knob unscrews >clockwise<, which is counterintuitive. You can always download the Owners Manual if you need help with disassembly/re-assembly. But, its pretty straightforward.

Greater than one weekI love this fan, and Ive had a lot of them. This is the quietest and strongest fan Ive had. the different breeze settings dont thrill me, but they do work. Even in oscillation mode the only noise this fan makes is the sound of air moving, no mechanical noise at all. Assembly has to be figured out by reading through the operating instructions, but it is all there, just takes some common sense. The remote controls all the functions which is great as the buttons on the fan itself are somewhat obscured beneath the large blade assembly. I dont find the blue light buttons on the fan all that bothersome, they arent that bright. So after a few weeks, not a single complaint.
