> 3 dayThe fact that this came with no extended warranty (and a rather high price tag compared to other fans) it’s worrisome to me; l hope it last. It’s rather heavy duty. I have a lot of experience putting fans together, so I was ok. Less experienced people would probably feel otherwise. I wanted a fan with a good remote, good brand and that provided a strong wind. In those fronts it delivers. It has a good range of motion and on slow and medium you can barely hear it; on high you do but it ain’t too bad. However, that extra blade? I find it GIMMICKY. I don’t feel that it provides me of any benefit. It was kind of a pain to install two blades so I kinda dread fan cleaning time now. The apparent purpose of that smaller blade is for something that I really don’t like: a variable speed option. It has its intended purposes, but instead of slowing the fan down and up it pretty much turn it off and back on (which made me panic because I thought that there was something wrong with the fan.) But I re-read the manual (a manual. For a fan. Next: a manual for sandals) and it’s a feature designed to provide the user with a calmer sleep. Well it made me panic so, so much for calm. If you are in the market for a sturdy, strong fan with a responsive, easily laid out remote control, the Honeywell Double Blade delivers. But the rest is really nothing to call grandma about.

> 3 dayI was a bit intimidated by putting it together but the directions are clear. The materials are sturdy and strong. The fan is very large, bigger than my old one. I like the black and black finish. The remote is a bonus, batteries 2 AAA arent included. The fan also has a double 2-blade system. Ive never seen this before. When putting it together, there is a 2nd much smaller blade to attach in front of the much larger blade. It took me time to figure out what the purpose of it was. If you place your hand in front of the front you feel air flow coming forward. If you place you hand in the rear of the fan you will also feel a forward air flow. In other words, air flows from both ends. The fan is quiet, love the oscillation setting, its big, its strong, its sturdy, has a nice remote, its black, it has a nighttime setting or basically a timer setting, it has strong airflow. Great purchase, satisfied with this, worth the extra money for me than a cheap standard piece of junk. Thats not what your buying here. Hope it helps.

> 3 dayHave this fan for about a month now with running it all day long. Had a martini before assembling it so it is not the most complicated mechanism youll ever encounter, no additional tools or screws needed. You do need the batteries for the remote control which works really well and actually has the on/off button so you dont have to go through all the speeds to turn it off like you would if you were to get up and do it on the fans buttons. When deciding on a fan, I was definitely on the budget but was looking for a quality fan even if it meant paying a bit more. Looked a lot at the tower fans as well but then decided to go with this kind because it was important for me to be able to clean it of accumulated dust frequently. Just recently did my first clean and it was wicked easy, the top parts disassemble as easy as they assemble, wiped the blades and rinsed the cage parts with a douche in the shower, wiped dry and voila all done, took like 15 minutes and the fan is looking nice and clean and like new. Rotation also works great and overall the fan is super quiet, I am in zoom meetings all day and it never interferes. At night, the blue light takes a bit of getting used to but actually is kind of calming. Highly recommend.

21-11-2024A very sturdy fan with heavy circular base compared to a previous flimsy fan we owned. Fairly easy to assemble but the adjustable stand was difficult to extend at first but eventually worked. The remote works perfectly. Its quiet even with the double blades. No complaints so far and highly recommend.

> 3 dayI read a ton of reviews about different fans and compared different models. I determined that for 50 USD, this is one of the best value options out there. Back in my day, you had to actually stand up and walk over to your fan to turn it on/off or adjust its speed. Now we get remotes which is super convenient, especially if youre all comfy on the couch or in bed. I also noticed a lot of bad reviews about people with issues with their fans? But Im pretty sure those are just rare cases where the delivery people or Amazon warehouse workers jacked something up or dropped the box or something, because my fan arrived in perfect condition, runs quietly and moves air phenomenally. Its relaxing during the day and soothing to sleep with at night. I recommend this fan 100% for anyone thats in the market for an oscillating floor fan.

> 3 dayBought two of these fans and both developed the same issue. There is a slight clicking-vibrating noise created when it is used in rotate mode. Enough to be annoying when using the fan to sleep at night but a noise that is not bothersome during the day when there are more noises going on. The fan is well made, is sturdy, the remote works great has lots of varying speed fluctuation features and is easy to clean.

> 3 dayI wanted to replace the floor fan we have that is just too loud even on a low setting. We have a Rowenta Turbo Silence in our bedroom but their floor fans are over $150. This Honeywell is only $50 and claimed to be quiet. And has a remote... Sounded like a deal. If it were not for the cheap price, it would be a 3 star product. PROS: 1. Cost. 2. Easy installation. It appears easy to take apart as well for periodic dust removal. CONS: 1. The base is very cheap. It started to crumble in my hand as I grabbed it to start the installation. See the pic. Its got two chunks missing and it want even set up. 2. It is NOT all that quiet. Compared to my old stand fan, its a bit better. (So I am keeping it). But its quiet mode should be described as annoying... High/Low or On/Off... It would not be appropriate for sleeping. The description is misleading. If you think youre getting a low-noise fan, keep looking.

Greater than one weekI use these fans daily. One is in my room to circulate the air and it does a great job at pushing air at low noise., the remote is easy to use and has great signal strength so you can use it at a distance. This was easy to assemble and a must to keep my room nice and cool, highly recommend
