Honeywell Security 6160 Ademco Alpha Display Keypad

It came well packaged. It works as advertised.

Would not function fully when replacing older Ademco keypad on Amdeco 20 system. Could configure, display functions with status, led lights display correctly yet keypad is not recognized in normal operation mode. Probably incompatibility to system; beware when selecting unit to replace older keypad

Love this unit. I have it as a secondary unit to my 6160RF. Note: You can only have one RF (wireless) unit per system. I couldnt find a clear answer to this question until my alarm guy came to activate. Super easy to install, check youtube.

Great product.works as advertised..

The keypad came with no instructions. That seemed like a good sign as it must be simple. I removed the old worn keypad, wired this one up, and now it just looks good and does nothing. The display says Ready to Arm and the buttons make nice beep sounds, but I cant control my alarm system. If theres a trick to installing these, instructions would have been a fabulous idea. Its going back if no one can answer.
