Honeywell Security 6160 Ademco Alpha Display Keypad

This was a drop in replacement for the prior fixed alpha keypad in my ADT security system. The default configuration even worked right out of the box. With the full alpha display, programming the alarm system is much easier, and I now have custom names for each alarm zone. That makes the alarm system much easier to use.

This box is needed for programming most Honeywell security systems and works fine. Nothing has changed about this keypad for 20+ years. Its not hard for program if you read the instructions and are moderately good with electronics.

Works great as replacement for old key pad

Bought this to add an additional keypad in my home theater so it chimes when a door is opened. They keypad does lights up but the screen doesnt.
